This was my first purchase for a travel bag that can take a beating; the bag is extremely durable. First: the straps throughout the bag feel as strong as the material used in seat belts (from the yoga straps on the bottom to the shoulder straps and hand straps). Non-zippered pouches on either side are large enough for a bottles of water. I like the fact that the two zippered back pockets, and front zippered pocket have a strip to cover the zipper, protecting the zipper tab and zipper from direct impacts. The lining throughout the bag, interior and the exterior pockets is a nylon as durable as the overall bag.I also like that the interior of the bag has both a zippered privacy pocket and a non-zippered pouch for easy access to a tablet or slim notebook, or dirty gym clothes (keeping the rest of the contents removed and clean). The eagle-claw latch-clasps are strong, and hook into a heavy duty triangle (giving me confidence that if I load up the bag the strap latches will not break or come loose; this is really important when traveling).What is really cool is the hidden pocket between/ on top of the two back pockets with a magnet to keep it closed, to keep my phone or personal items hidden from view (easy access for me but invisible to outsiders).Overall, I would rate this 8 stars because of the quality construction, the versatility, the security, the durability. I would highly recommend this to travelers, or to gym enthusiasts.

Nice large bag for taking to the gym! If well-stuffed though, this might not fit a typical narrow gym locker, so do be aware. Full disclosure, this review concerns a replacement unit as the first one I received was defective - about 8" of stitching completely missed the panel it was supposed to attach! Perhaps an isolated incident, but if gifting this, inspecting it beforehand would be ideal just in case.I'm not sure about carrying a laptop in this - personally I'd want more padding and structure around my laptop, but there is a separate space for one if you wish. The "shoe compartment" at least partially appears to a separate thin bag included with the replacement unit. I'm a little skeptical about putting smelly dirty gym clothes and shoes inside a gym bag which seemingly is NOT machine washable, but perhaps with the addition of a plastic bag you'd be fine.Otherwise the bag delivers on the promise of versatility with numerous small pouches and compartments, so it's definitely worth a look. Just inspect closely upon receipt and check that it'll fit in your gym locker and you should be set.

Eight, count 'em, EIGHT pockets, premium fabric and stout metal fittings, thoughtful design (a separate pocket for shoes, separate, ventilated stowage for soiled clothing) PLENTY of room for all your stuff, including a sports bottle or two, and a couple of straps for a yoga mat to boot. These guys thought of everything. From the first touch, I knew this was an item of exceptional and enduring quality--it struck me as being military grade and pretty much combat ready, even if you're only vying for a sports locker. This capacious bag can go a lot farther than the gym or yoga studio, too. Having enough room to transport a weekend's worth of casual clothing, it's a natural choice for a short getaway and can be carried by the handles or a shoulder strap. This is a versatile, rugged piece of luggage that is unencumbered by gaudy badging or expensive initials and quietly speaks for itself. Eloquently. And it will do so for quite some time.

This is an exceptionally well-made gym/travel bag. Lots of storage - internal pockets, laptop compartment, large front and two back compartments, net pockets for phones, keys, and wallets, external side pockets, and even one for dirty clothes. It also comes with a small bag for those dirty clothes, or else sneakers, toiletries, etc.Quality is great, which is to be expected for an item of this price. No loose stitches anywhere, everything is properly reinforced , and the design is clever and intuitive. I do have one minor criticism - the strap could be longer, but that's not a major issue for me as I'm only of average build.I'm going on a three day retreat this weekend and I'll be taking this instead of my larger, equally well-made travel bag, which is more suitable for longer trips and doubles as a garment bag.Perfect for students, professionals, commuters, gym rats, or anybody on the go. Recommended.

There are eight pockets in this giants, sports bag. Some of them have pockets inside of pockets. You have plenty of room for your workout, clothes and change of clothes and towel. They can all be kept separate so they don’t get each other wet. You have room for all of toiletries, phone, wallet, and keys. They even included a nice little dust-proof bag to put your shoes in.Zippers are large, and run smoothly throughout the bag. There’s a nice long strap that can be adjusted to your shoulder for cross body if you prefer.The fabric is very tight nylon fabric. The entire bag is lined or insulated. There are two straps on the bottom. If you have packed your bag, you can put your towel on the outside through those straps.This bag can also be used for many other things. It would make a great overnight bag also. I do believe the price is a little high, but it is obvious that this bag should last a while it is made with good quality materials.
