Product was easy to assemble. It took less than 10 minutes and was actually kind of fun. The fit and finish is great. The number of different parts have been kept to a minimum. The connections are user friendly and are designed to feed the screw into the receptor. Finish of product is good also. The one I bought was a natural wood finish on real wood, not particle board.

My order history says I bought this in, wow, 2018? So why am I just reviewing it now? Because I'm buying another one for my dad. This thing is sturdy. It was very easy to assemble and everything lined up. The metal bars are a good diameter and the wood is nice quality. I bought mine to hold my fencing gear, which is fairly bulky and somewhat off-balanced, yet it never tries to fall over, so it can surely handle suit jackets and jeans. It has not loosened up or gotten rickety over the years- I've never once had to tighten it back up. The solid base is a good size and thickness and stabilizes the rack very well. It works for shoes or boots no matter the style, with plenty of clearance above, and you won't be having your heels fall through cross-pieces and possibly getting stuck or scraped. It's been a workhorse. Highly recommended.

I needed a valet for my closet as I have been using a chair which I never sat on and took up too much space. This valet is just the right size and configuration, especially for the price. I am not sure this would be heavy enough or wide enough for men's suits or jackets but for women's clothing it is just right. I did make one adjustment. I turned the two lower bars (that hold the horizontal pants bar) 180 degrees. I wanted more space between the upper rack and this lower one. This might impact the balance if you were hanging something heavy, like several pairs of pants on it, but the added distance between the two racks is helpful for my purposes.

Bought this valet for my husband. He loves it as he can organize his outfits the night before. Takes up little space and easy to assemble.

All the pieces were included. The directions were easy to follow. Not fancy very straight forward.

Poor design flaws which could easily be addressed mar this product. The cost hanger is attached with wood screws which go through pre-drilled holes in the metal support bars, not into any woods. The connection is loose and shaky. The bar to hang pants is metal, so pants tend to slide right off it. I used different screws to attach the hanger, but it wasn't an idea solution. I put some non-slip stickers on the pants bar.
