Easy install, open air case keeps pi safe and cool
The active cooler is simple to install, just follow the video instructions. The case is even easier to install, just a few screws. You're paying a small premium over the individual components, but with prime free shipping it's a a good deal. The pi runs very cool inside this open-air case already, so the fan rarely kicks in. You'll see it spin up on boot so you know it's working, then it will only start up again when needed.

Keeps the Pi 5 nice and cool!
Honestly, this should just come with the Pi 5. It's pretty much necessary to keep it from throttling under load. But, it's quiet and works great!

Simple Case that Works
Great case and cooler, able to keep the Pi 5 at 30 - 40°C (it runs at 70+°C without a fan). The only thing I noticed is that the pictures of the product show a different configuration from the one shown in the video (assembly instructions). I think the one shown in the pictures is correct - the plastic plate with more holes/openings should be put on the top, just above the fan.

Good for covering the Pi. Easy to install. Open for cooling. Take of lid (top) for hats.
This is a good "case" for holding a Raspberry Pi 5 (I think you could use it for a 4B or 3B/B+). The active cooler keeps the Pi below 55C pretty easily. The top of the case might be a bit inconvenient for hats or physical computing. You will probably need to remove is for any hat you might use. If you need to access the GPIO pins, then it will be much easier to remove the top. All-in-all this case is decent for holding the Pi 5 and keeping the electrical contacts protected. Someone asked about clearance of the standoffs. 5mm bottom of Pi PCB to bottom cover; 13mm top of Pi PCB to top of standoff; 5mm top of active cooler to bottom of top cover. Refer to the photos.
