I absolutely love this thing. It’s adorable and putting all of the pieces together was a fun activity for me and my daughter. The quality EXCELLENT and I am very impressed with all of it.

The media could not be loaded.  It takes a bit of time and smaller hands. I had my daughter help me out with it, but it looks amazing! Has a nice sensor added it to light up when you pass by. Great gift or for anyone who collects, Pixar UP merch.

Easy to put together nice product very relaxing and lovely display. Would make a great gift.

Some parts are easily to seprate and others are kind of hard, also need a lo of strenght to put some parts toguether

I’ve been really frustrated lately with the number of book nooks I’ve purchased that r were less snap on assembly and mostly gluing. This one didn’t require any glue and assembled quickly. There were some very tight pieces but at least that means they would be secure. I am very pleased with this book nook.

This 3-D puzzle book nook Kit (Tone-cheer’s “The Steam Age”) is extremely cleverly designed, and all its parts are of very high quality, including its LED lighting and sensor system. ! A pleasure to construct and live with. I initially gave the kit a very poor rating, because although the kit’s lighting had worked fine for the first 4-5 days, it then began to dim shortly after the sensor triggered it on, and finally failed completely after about a week and a half. I never even thought it might be battery-caused because I’d checked the voltage of all 3 rechargeable batteries I used before I installed them, and all worked fine originally. But today it occurred to me to check them again, and I found that one of the three failed to deliver anything like its expected voltage. A complete dud ! So I swapped out all three for new alkaline AAs, and the kit is restored to life, its lighting back to full power and working fine. Which pleases me immensely, since I really really like the kit “The Steam Age”. My sincere apologies to Tone-cheer. Their products are fantastic, deserving 5 stars.

Had someone going on vacation for a few days so I would need something to do while alone. I decided to take a chance and try one of these out. I usually can't sit there and do something like this due to me getting bored and frustrated halfway through but this was totally different.The pieces were printed on beautifully and everything came out without much resistance although I would still give some caution cause they are only thin pieces of wood, some parts of my trunk snapped but that's my fault. The piece sits just fine on a shelf and is an eye catching display when the light flicks on.

Such a cute project, loved how it turned out.Only downside was the glue, it took too many coats for it to stick.

Der Modellbausatz aus Holz wird in einem Karton geliefert.Hier wartet wirklich einiges an Bastelarbeit.Die Holzteile sind alle ordentlich, und für die Installation von Licht ist alles dabei.Die Anleitung zeigt Schritt für Schritt wie man die Landschaft im Buch herstellt.Bis auf das fehlende doppelseitige Klebeband ist alles vorhanden (es soll unter dem Spiegel in der Packung sein, da ist auch extra Platz dafür da, aber der ist leider leer).Mir gefällt der Bausatz sehr gut, ich hab schon damit angefangen, und freu mich schon auf das fertige Endergebnis.

Das hat super Spaß gemacht es zusammen zu bauen.Jedes Teil liess sich hervorragen heraus drückend und man hatte keine Mühe die Holzteile richtig reinzu drücken.Fertig sieht es toll aus.Klare Kaufempfehlung

The media could not be loaded.  “Ma che spettacolo!”, questo è quello che esclama ogni mio ospite non appena lo vede tra il libri e in effetti posso confermarvi che lo stupore è ampiamente giustificato.Quello che ci arriva a casa è un kit da dover assemblare, quindi se anche voi come me pensavate di aver ordinato un prodotto già pronto da mostrare, prestate bene attenzione, perché il divertimento non si limita solo a vederlo accendersi al vostro passaggio, ma consiste anche nel cimentarsi ad assemblarlo.La scatola che ci viene fornita contiene 178 pezzi in totale, quasi totalmente in legno da dover distaccare e assemblee, (c’è anche lo specchio e la scheda elettronica con il sensore e i Led già collegati). Viene fornito anche il necessario per l’assemblaggio come un piccolo cacciavite, della colla (in stick, ma l’azienda consiglia di acquistarne e utilizzarne una liquida, io in casa ne avevo una e ho preferito quest’ultima), un foglio di carta abrasiva e infine un piccolo accessorio per distaccare le varie parti, che però io ho individuato soltanto a 3/4 dell’opera, essendo quest’ultimo pretagliato in un foglio insieme agli altri pezzi del “puzzle”. Nel set sono assenti le 3 pile AA necessarie per alimentare i Led interni.Il livello di difficolta dichiarato è di 4 su 5, anche se devo ammettere che si assembla in tutta tranquillità, in circa 4 ore l’ho portato a termine e me la sono anche presa comoda, vedendo una serie tv.Non è la prima volta che mi appresto a montare set in legno e vi posso assicurare che questo kit è pensato davvero molto bene, gli incastri sono perfetti e nonostante abbia utilizzato il martello per aiutarmi nella giunzione dei pezzi (non è necessario ma aiuta abbastanza) questi entravano facilmente nelle zone predisposte; non ho avuto mai necessità di utilizzare la carta abrasiva per migliorare il taglio.Altro aspetto positivo è legato alle istruzioni e alla disposizione dei pezzi nei vari fogli preintagliati. Infatti ogni sezione da costruire e posizionare all’interno del “libro” ha i pezzi necessari all’interno dello stesso foglio (ad eccezione di qualche raro caso). Per farvi capire meglio se stiamo costruendo un finestra i pezzi che la compongono saranno tutti in un determinato foglio, ad esempio il foglio “D” quindi preleviamo i pezzi D37, D3, D18, D25, D13, D14, D15… e li assembliamo insieme per formare un unico pezzo da inserire nel set.Essendo dotato di un sensore di movimento il set s’illuminerà quando rileva la presenza di qualcuno nei pressi del suo campo visivo, che si attiva già da una distanza di 5/6 metri; l’ho tenuto attivo in questo giorni per verificare l’effettiva durata delle pile e ho potuto constatare che accendendosi diverse volte durante la giornata (infatti si accende anche in pieno giorno, un crepuscolare sarebbe costato forse troppo), potrebbe essere abbastanza energivoro.Ho inserito all’interno delle pile ricaricabili che però non sono tanto capacitive e che anche in altre circostanze non durano tantissimo, ma in questo caso dopo 10 giorni ho notato i primi segnali delle pile scariche, infatti ho visto la luce all’interno leggermente più fioca, segno che la tensione delle pile è scesa. Alla luce di questa esperienza vi consiglierei appunto di utilizzare delle pile ricaricabili, cosi da non doverne acquistare a migliaia.In conclusione il set mi è piaciuto moltissimo, sia da costruire che da posizionare, dona stupore e meraviglia a chiunque gli passi accanto.
