I use the likes of Black Magic for this type of thing normally so I have used the same cables etc as a good way of testing this device. It comes in a metal box and is pretty rugged but with no discernable info it's hard to make an exact comparison. I tried to send an SDI video signal but had trouble getting a consistent signal over the converter. It seemed to drop in and out so I'm not sure what was causing it.

Very comfortable and easy to use
This really useful and helpful 75ohm BNC coax to 120ohm adapter doing great job I must admit, it's very comfortable, quick and simple to use plus installation is also very easy, but I mostly like that it looks like really good solid quality for long time of use.The interface is 2 x coax to 1 x RJ45.I also really like that there is no need for any ac power or batteries.I can easily recommended to anyone for this really reasonable price.
