Cheap and cheerful high-speed hub works as it should
Received product intact and on time with no problems. Shut down computer & unplugged 3 multi-terabyte-class HDDs and a BluRay player from the back of the computer, plugged this hub into a USB 3.2 port, and plugged the 4 devices into the hub. Note that each of these devices has its own, separate functioning power source--relying on this hub for any power whatsoever would be a mistake; that's not what it's for.Fired everything up. Did speed benchmarks with CrystalDiskMark (and I had run same with the devices plugged into the computer). Performance results for the HDDs were comparable. The BD worked. So, no complaints! If it goes belly up, I'll change the review, but right now, it appears to be performing per specs.

Does more than any other dock I've had, though Ethernet gets hot.
I was using this primarily to obtain USB-C video out to connect to a portable monitor, which worked flawlessly, consistent with other reviews. I then decided to try a few other things out.First, I switched my ethernet cable from my other dock to this dock, and it worked perfectly fine, but this dock got very hot, so I decided to leave that on my other dock. It would, in all likelihood, be fine, but I didn't want to risk it. It would be cool if they fixed that somehow, so that I could get rid of my other dock.Second, I decided to see how this would handle my ultrawide monitor via HDMI, even though I had my laptop outputting via Displayport. Initially, at 3440x1440, the resolution was very distorted. I went into the advanced display setting for the 3440x1440 monitor within Win 11, and changed the refresh rate from 60hz to 100hz (max supported by my monitor over HDMI), and it completely fixed my resolution. This dock is exactly what I needed to be able to use two PCs in parallel, while sharing a portable USB-C monitor between the two PCs. The price is also excellent for what you get. Hoping this thing lasts me a long time, I've had it for a couple months or so now.

Great for getting USB-C video output! One caveat: HDMI can be capped at [email protected] Hz
My work laptop has two Thunderbolt ports and I've been using both for video output: the first for connecting to an eGPU and the second for driving an ASUS monitor with touch and pen input. Thanks to this docking station with USB C Video+Data USB-C port, I'm glad that I can now get both Ethernet and Display output from the second Thunderbolt port. What has been tested to work (on Win 11 laptop):1. The ASUS monitor with touch and pen input still works a intended (one may need to configure it again in "Tablet PC Settings").2. The Ethernet connection is solid, at 1000/1000 Mbps. What doesn't work as expected:1. With the port for USB C Video+Data connected and Ethernet cable connected, the HDMI output only supports [email protected] Hz. The same cable+monitor works at 4K@60 Hz when connected to the laptop's HDMI port directly.2. When a DJI mic was connected to the USB-C port on the hub for the first time, the mic wasn't registered. Rebooting helped.

light & useful
This hub is good for me- 1 plug and 3 outlets for connection, a short wire, hangs off edge of the desk

Small, Compact, USB A Input
This hub is small a great for travel. It is one of the few I have seen that has a USB A input cord rather than a USB C. It has worked well for me so far.

Great for a ROG Ally & Legion Go
I purchased this to use with my ROG Ally, so I could hold the Ally while it's connected to a larger screen and still be able to use the onboard controls. When I sold my Ally and purchased a Legion Go, this is still my go to dock when I'm gaming. I have a traditional dock stand when using the Go as a desktop computer, but I take this dock wherever I go.

Works great
Regularly use this to connect low power consumption items like flashdrives, wireless mice, etc. Have used it to transfer data between an external hard drive before, but having more than one external hard drive plugged in at once will cause issues due to USB power delivery limitations.

Incorrect device 'internals'.
I got the box for what I ordered, the USB 3.2 gen 10 Gbps 4 port USB hub. However when I plug it in a 3.2 USB port, then plug a 3.1 flash drive. Then look at the hwinfo64, and drill down to the flash drive the parent hub says it is USB 2.0. Winsat test proves it. The first test was in this 4 port hub, the second test was directly in a 3.2 USB port. Doesn't matter if I plug directly into a 3.2 USB port right off of the motherboard. HWinfo still reports it having USB 2.0.C:\>winsat disk -drive e:Windows System Assessment Tool> Running: Feature Enumeration ''> Run Time 00:00:00.00> Running: Storage Assessment '-drive e: -ran -read'> Run Time 00:00:01.55> Running: Storage Assessment '-drive e: -seq -read'> Run Time 00:00:03.44> Running: Storage Assessment '-drive e: -seq -write'> Run Time 00:00:19.25> Running: Storage Assessment '-drive e: -flush -seq'> Run Time 00:00:11.98> Running: Storage Assessment '-drive e: -flush -ran'> Run Time 00:00:43.86> Dshow Video Encode Time 0.00000 s> Dshow Video Decode Time 0.00000 s> Media Foundation Decode Time 0.00000 s> Disk Random 16.0 Read 11.39 MB/s 5.5> Disk Sequential 64.0 Read 36.82 MB/s 4.8> Disk Sequential 64.0 Write 29.42 MB/s 4.3> Average Read Time with Sequential Writes 5.514 ms 5.8> Latency: 95th Percentile 246.201 ms 1.9> Latency: Maximum 384.052 ms 5.3> Average Read Time with Random Writes 21.628 ms 2.1> Total Run Time 00:01:20.30C:\>winsat disk -drive e:Windows System Assessment Tool> Running: Feature Enumeration ''> Run Time 00:00:00.00> Running: Storage Assessment '-drive e: -ran -read'> Run Time 00:00:01.16> Running: Storage Assessment '-drive e: -seq -read'> Run Time 00:00:01.64> Running: Storage Assessment '-drive e: -seq -write'> Run Time 00:00:09.75> Running: Storage Assessment '-drive e: -flush -seq'> Run Time 00:00:07.00> Running: Storage Assessment '-drive e: -flush -ran'> Run Time 00:00:36.55> Dshow Video Encode Time 0.00000 s> Dshow Video Decode Time 0.00000 s> Media Foundation Decode Time 0.00000 s> Disk Random 16.0 Read 16.31 MB/s 5.8> Disk Sequential 64.0 Read 127.00 MB/s 7.0> Disk Sequential 64.0 Write 72.70 MB/s 6.0> Average Read Time with Sequential Writes 3.146 ms 6.6> Latency: 95th Percentile 194.637 ms 1.9> Latency: Maximum 318.868 ms 6.6> Average Read Time with Random Writes 18.192 ms 2.8> Total Run Time 00:00:56.39
