Growing at great speed
My daughter and I has great success growing sunflowers last year and wanted to try again this season. The seeds come in a paper style packet and a very generous amount is supplied.I placed 1 seed per 1 small plastic pot and water generously daily. It's paramount that these are kept in a sunny area initially. I don't have a greenhouse but found a window cil is more than sufficient. All seeds began to germinate pretty quickly and had sprouted by day 5 to 7, I continued to water daily and they really began to grow at good speed.I personally add coffee grounds to a good quality compost for best growth and its very important to remember that a lot of water is paramount in the early stages to encourage thick strong roots. After about 3 weeks or so, my sunflowers are still indoors and will remain so until they are about 30cm in height then they will be repotted into a larger pot and placed in a sunny outdoor area.Remember, sunflowers will grow towards the sun so it's important to rotate the pots daily and as they begin the grow, I use wooden skewers to help keep them straight. This particular seed is proving very promising so far.

Huge plants
Planted 3 batches of sunflowers in my front garden 3 weeks apart starting in April and it’s now September and I still have these 4 plants going strong, they look like they will keep flowering for another month at least and they’re absolutely massive. Extremely happy with these seeds

Are these really "Russian Giant Sunflowers" ?
Let me start off by saying these are beautiful, easy(and fast) to grow and makes any garden brighter and happier! In the past I have only grown the ones that get around 3-4ft tall, I understand the soil/weather obviously is key to these growing well and I am very confident the soil is good and the weather is alright and haven't had any issues growing things in the past.I have grown in total 23 of these seeds and 22 of them have turned into beautiful sunflowers which to me is brilliant, I use one of those hydroponic growing system to get the seeds the best start which works incredibly well, then when the sunflowers were around 20cm in height I planted them in pots and placed them outside, and eventually when they started growing further... planted them in the soil in the garden.my only issue is, I bought these hoping for some crazy height/heads sizes however they are just like the standard sunflowers I have bought in the past, perhaps these ones are *slightly* taller by perhaps 30cm or so but they are nothing like the reviews/images I have seen online that Russian Giant Sunflowers are supposed to be like so I am not sure if I just got a bad batch or something but I am pretty disappointed in these seeds :(either way, sunflowers... beautiful and highly recommend anyone growing them in their garden!

Fantastic!
We’ve nurtured the seeds and are completely amazed at how quickly they are growing! The plants are now over 2 1/2 feet and are super healthy and strong.

I haven't killed them yet - a miracle!
Super easy to grow. I am awful with growing and maintaining plants, but seriously I just poked the seed into some decent soil, and up it shot. In fact, 4 of them came up (I did more because I figured there was a better chance of 1 sprouting.) and I'm super pleased with them. Great value for money and would recommend. Here's hoping they all keep on growing!
