Victron EnergyMultiPlus-II Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger for 120 amp Battery, 120V, 3000VA 12-Volt

This unit was installed in a fifth wheel camper that had a 50a service. The dual 120v inputs made it easy to wire and ensured that our camper is ready for any/all camp sites. I added a soft start to our AC (15000BTU) and the inverter handles it perfectly. When the camper is plugged in at home it back feeds excess solar power into the grid to help offset home electric consumption. The first unit I purchased had a problem so I had to request Victron support. It was a great experience as handled the device return, repair, and return back to me. I'm very impressed with the Victron product line and will stay with them.

There’s not much to say besides victron is the best you can get. Excellent! With a 200ah lithium this thing will start my air compressor, portable air conditioner and every other 120v 20amp device I’ve tried.

Product works fine but the fans inside are extremely noisy when they turn on. I put it in my Fifth Wheel RV and it is setting under the front where the bed is located. We hear a loud rumbling fan noise when it is running. After doing some research on the fan noise, come to find out it is an issue that Victron knows about and they have a fix but none of the units from the factory have the fix installed. There is a Tech Note from Feb 2023 that indicates ALL Multiplus II 12/3000/120-50 models have the issue. The solution is to install Retrofit Kit SPR00090. The catch is that you have to send it to a repair facility to get the Retrofit Kit installed which costed me about $100 shipping because Victron doesn't cover shipping to the repair facility and it is pretty heavy (50lbs). They cover the repair and return shipping, but I am still out $100 for shipping to the repair facility. The question is why are they still producing a product with a known defect and forcing us to send it in for repairs. If it didn't have the fan problem I would have probably given it 4 or 5 stars because it really does work pretty well. I will provide an update once I get the unit back from the repair shop on how well the fix works.

Dad-gum, This thing does the things. Works as advertised to a T. Using it on a Schoolie I built and it handles battery management, shore power, and solar like a boss. This is a great product for MANY applications. Buy it, go forth, and make great things. You WILL need to download the dumb A** app because there are some setting you can only change in there.

The media could not be loaded. Ninja Foodi Max XL does not work with this device. Otherwise seems really nice. Have not used the charging function from the genset because I have sufficient solar and have not hooked it up yet. It's a bummer it does not include BlueTooth so you can see it on your phone as well.

Love using Victron equipment, best and easy to program

It's twice the weight of the inverter it was replacing - yet came with a big dent in the top. Not concerned with looks, hooked it up and low battery (fully charged batteries) and over current (breakers to circuit were off).Good connections on terminals but that's all I can really say here. Few showing up damaged, might want to go and pick this one up local to inspect before taking it home.
