Now, I am abit of an old timer when it comes to wet shaving. I like a brush and I like lots of suds. I have tried shave butters in the past and they’ve felt abit ‘bluergh’, abit thin to do the job. I am prone to razor burn too.BUT…..Having said that, this is a quality product that gives a good layer for razor glide and a good layer of protection. As with all Brickell products, less is more. You don’t need much to do the job.I have the scented version which smells the same as other Brickell products.And because I don’t need much, I haven’t had a cloggy razor so far.Use it with Brickell face scrub before and Brickell aftershave (as I do) and I am left with a very smooth face afterwards.

This is easily the best shaving butter I've used, so much better than foam and gives a close shave while leaving your face feeling refreshed and clean, highly recommended, just a small amount is needed so it lasts for a long time.

Brilliant stuff to use

Beware! Tub is tiny, doesn't last two minutes. Not a bad cream but doesn't lather well at all. Feel like you've been duped, especially at that price for a so-called premium shave product.

Like a number of reviewers I have tried multiple shaving products over the years and what suits one person may not suit another. However I like this bracknell shave cream a lot and it suits my very dry skin. I'll certainly be sticking with it for the foreseeable future. I tend to use a small amount onto damp almost dry skin / beard, add a rather cheaper shave cream (KOS) on top and then add water to the face and cream to bring it to life. Shaving afterwards is a dream, no irritation or blotchiness. This sound like a lot of faffing around but it really isn't.I've not tried the scented version due to sensitive skin, but other bracknell products smell good (lemon grass). I travel quite a bit and have noticed that performance suffers slightly in hard water areas, but still very good - just not quite as good soft water. Give it a go.

I knew this would be a relatively very small jar, the ad clearly refers to the size. I've an excessive number of the finest shaving creams and soaps but this would rank very low in terms of re-purchase intention. For a lower price you;ll find better creams twice the size.The fragrance is like one of those green veggie shakes that you think should be good for you but you don't really like the taste of.

This might be good for your skin but it's no good for the planet as it's made in the USA.It's also very oily and doesn't clearly show when rubbed into stubble, so unlike the white lather you get from other creams and foams it's not always clear where you need to add more cream.For the size it's also very expensive, and although it technically works, I'm not a fan.

I rarely give feedback or reviews because I’m a tad lazy in that respect. However, this product is so good that I wanted to tell people about it. I hate the soapy taste you get from shaving soap or foam. Apart from the horrible taste, if you can taste it then that means you’ll be ingesting dodgy chemicals.This amazing natural and organic product has a slight peppermint taste – no bother there. And of course the other main reason that prompted me to review is that the shave itself is incredibly smooth, and I mean SMOOTH. Fantastic product so if you want a natural product and a lovely silky smooth shave – this is the one to buy, it really is that good.
