Not bad but needs salt
This claims to be a family recipe dating back to 1914. The majority of peanut brittle recipes I have seen call for some salt. This product has no salt at all! So I emptied the bag and spread the squares on a baking tray, ground some sea salt over the top, then warmed in our Aga to melt the top layer of caramel so it absorbs the salt I had added. Once cooled and returned to the bag, it was a bit crunchier, and had a slightly salty taste. Much better and worth a 5* rating. It’s a pity J Charles couldn’t get it right four generations ago.
