My husband loved wearing his costume
My husband loved wearing his costume! He did get a separate mask though as the mask included wasn't of great quality.

Batman? More like Simple-Gorillaman...
I ordered this costume in a rush as I didn't have the time to buy seperate pieces that could form a decent Batman costume, i.e. tactical shin/knee pads, motorcross chestplate, heavyweight cape etc. I already have tactical gloves and boots, and the good quality official Dark Knight Returns latex Batman hood. If however, you want a cheap costume that makes a vague stab at resembling Batman, then buy this. I cannot recommend it though.I am 6' 2", and of average build. I bought the costume thinking it would be a nice fit. The legs are a very thin, almost pyjama quality with a print on them trying to mimic the design for Bale's Batsuit. At the end of the legs are padded shoe coverings that look awful. It's like Batman wanted to have Teletubby feet.Regarding the chest, I am by no means a waif, and I am 16 stone, but not obese for my height, yet this chestplate, made out of bendable plastic with foam muscles, makes me look like a gorilla. It is too wide. The arms are also padded, they look nothing like muscles, but enhance the ape image even further. As for the hood and cape which are sewn together, the cape is a very flimsy material that doesn't hang very low, and looks more like a narrow scarf. The hood is padded at the front with very floppy ears. You would have to sew them to something stiff to get them to stand up. The mask makes you look like a village idiot. Ditch the hood altogether and buy the official latex hood, it is around 20 quid, but well worth it.The belt is a strange beige hue, with ties at each end that look like an old ladies' pair of tan tights. So, in conclusion, if you want to look like a simple gorilla with pensioner's tights round your waist, then go for it! If you want to look semi-decent, then you will have to buy a more Adam West type Batman costume, or buy individual pieces that resemble armour for a more cosplay look.

Good if you do a bit of DIY to the costume!
Does look good but as other reviewers said the chest pieces are just way to big. Would recommend trying a size down. The back only has a few velcro strips and these can be difficult to stick together yourself and can come undone if you bend over or move excessively. The ears on the mask are a bit floppy too but this can be easily fixed with a little bit of wire.I would recommend getting this and then getting your Mum/Nan or whoever is good with a needle and thread to sort it out! Some buttons or a safety pin on the back would help keep it in place (especially if you opt for smaller size). There is no fly so you either need to hold it in or bring Robin with you to help redress afterwards. Geez they never showed these problems in the movies...:)Overall happy with my purchase considering it wasn't hugely expensive.

Very disappointing, chest piece is simply awful.
Really disappointed with this. Am 6'4" and a big guy with broad shoulders, so I ordered the XL.The costume fits perfectly except the muscle chest is absolutely ridiculous. It's made of a solid foam material, and extends about 3 inches out past my shoulders, making it impossible to do much without the chest piece getting in the way. There's a reason the photos have the model wearer standing with their arms angled out by their side...The rest of the costume is fine. The belt looks well, it's a gold ribbon around the back for you to tie together - this will be covered by the cape. The cowl is a bit...meh. If I keep this, I'll replace it with a latex mask.I just cannot get over how bad the chest piece is. If I reorder a Large, the rest of the outfit may not fit as well - the fabric is quite light, so could be quite....revealing.I bought this to wear while bringing my son to a local comiccon on his birthday, but I don't know if I could put up with the obtrusive chest piece for 5 minutes, let alone a full day.

OK but was way too big
I am normally XXL and got the XL, it was way too big. I used safety pins to pin each side of the velcro and then was fine. As with all costumes like this, not easy to go too the loo as you have to basically take it off. Black shorts underneath and a pair of scissors resolved the issue. Still was a fun night and easy to talk, eat and drink with a batman outfit
