Yes, nice collection. Played on a region free player.

Takes me back to my childhood, watching on a black and white T.V and in cartoon cinemas, still enjoy Popeye, although dated, they still make me laugh.

The item arrived a bit late and didnt arrive in the best conditions... But Amazon solve my problem, and im happy with this collection. Altough there arent any subtitles and the image quality is poor... I understand that this are old cartoons. But the image quality could be a lot better. The Tom & Jerry are as old as Popeye but the Tom and Jerry collection on DVD as a way better image quality than this Popeye dvd. And they are both old cartoons... But it's Popeye and i finally have these good old classic cartoons on my cartoons collection. So i recommend because they are funny cartoons and they dont do good cartoons like this anymore. This is a good dvd edition with almost 4 hours of entertainment. But it could be perfect and the only reason i rated 3* its because of the image quality and the lack of subtitles. Altough it's another jewel on my dvd/blu ray collection.

I love Popeye - who doesn't? Great value for money, well packed on arrival and prompt delivery.My only little niggle is that you must bear in mind that these film clips are over 50 years' old and therefore seem rather dated by today's standards. Nevertheless, the stories are good and Popeye always gets his gal. Good old-fashioned family fun and entertainment.

I WENT TO THE TROUBLE B4 I ORDERED AND SINCE RECIEVED THIS ITEM, TO CHEK THE REGION FOR THIS BOXSET, ONLY TO FIND WHEN I WENT TO PLAY IT, ITS NOTTT UK REGION 2 PAL ASSS STATED ON THEDESCRIPTION, BUT USA WHICH IS REGION ONE, NOT TWO, SO NOT HAPPY, N BEEN TOO ILL TO WRITE BACK N COMPLAIN TIL NOW COS HAD A WHOLE MONAHT OF SCREAMING IN AGONY COS I HAVE TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA AN EXTREMELY PAINFUL NERVE CONDITION IN THE FACE, CAUSING YOU TO SCREAM IN AGONY TIL IT STOPS THEN STARTS AGAIN WITHOUT DAM WARNING, ONLY THIS ATTACK LASTED ME OVER A MONTH N IM NOT AMUSED AT ALL N WAS LOOKIN FORWARD TO WATCHING THIS BOXSET N NOT BEEN ABLE TO VIEW IT, DUE TO LYING REGION CODE I DAM WELL CHEKD FEW TIMES B4 ORDERING N 2 3 TIMES B4 WROTE THIS COMPLAINT...I DO HOWEVER HAV A PS2 WITH DIRECTX DVD I CUD USE TO SEE IF THESE 4 DISKS WILL WORK, BUT MEANS GETTING IT OUT THE STORAGE TO SET IT UP TO A NEW TYPE TV I DONT EVEN KNOW IF IT WIL SET UPTO, MY OLD PLASMA WORKD BUT DUNO IF MY NEWISH TV WILL ACCEPT THE WIRINGS UP SO NO IM NOT AMUSED AT ALL, WHY SAY ITS PAL REGION 2 IF ITS USA REGION 1 COPY// ATLEAST I WOULDVE HAD THE CHOICE TO CHOOSE FOR MYSELF IF I STIL WANTED TO BUY IT INSTEAD OF RECIEVING THE WRONG ITEM...OK ONLY £8.58 FOR 4 DISKS BUT ITS NOT THE POINT WHEN ON DISABILITY N CANT USE THE DAM ITEM, I CUDVE GIVEN THAT MONEY TO MY LOCAL ICY N HE BUMPd HIS TIL UP A BIT N GIVEN THE KIDS TREATS /ATLEAST THAT MONEY WUDVE DONE SOME GOOD INSTEAD OF DISKS I CANT USE.................
