You & Me Finch Rectangle Flight Cage

Q: As you may know, parrotlets are little escape artists and are strong. Is this cage strong enough to keep them inside the cage?

So far the cage has been great for ours. We have only been with them for a week but the cage is big enough to have all their toys and decorations and they have space too. They haven’t tried escaping but the thought came to mind for me aswell.

Q: Would a rat or two fit in this? For sleep only.

I wouldn't. It's a bit flimsy for rats and they could very easily open the doors.

Q: Does anyone know if there's a cover to fit this cage? Everything I've searched seems to be for cages that are taller, not horizontal.

I don’t know if one is made just for this cage but I use a black out curtain for mine and it works perfectly.
