This works perfectly, as it's just an interface converter from M.2 to CFexpress. However, for Xbox Series S/X you will need the very specific CH SN530 Western Digital SSD, as the consoles are locked down to only use this specific SSD. Bought two, one for a 512GB SSD and another for a friend for 1TB SSD. Both worked as expected.

This works well, but there are strict requirements to make it work:- ONLY works with supported PCIe4.0 gen4x2 SSDs. I would only recommend Western Digital CH SN530 SSD, as this is the one I used.- If your SSD is not brand new, it'll need to be formatted. Use MBR (Not GPT) and NTFS. When you plug it in to your Xbox, you will be prompted to format the device.
