Great starter set or gitt
I needed a second set of knives that would not necessarily get daily use, but I still wanted a full set.The quality is very nice. Actually, impressively so. The fit and finish on these is comparable to knives costing much more. They were plenty sharp upon first use. I haven't had them long enough to determine how long they hold their edge.I wish the handles were a little heavier to make them a bit better balanced - but that is really nitpicking. After using them for a few days in a row, I just got used to their weight. The only 'con' and this is so small that it doesn't warrant taking a star off is the packaging. While the box that they come in is nice and there are individual places for each knife as can be seen in the picture, the tip protectors were only still attached to two knives - the rest had fallen off. Also, one knife was not really in its place properly. I expect that this is more of a shipping (getting jostled around) issue, than actually the packaging of the knives. I only mention this as it is slightly less aesthetically pleasing upon opening than one might hope if received as a gift. Would this impact their utility? Obviously not.Despite the minuscule observation above, there is nothing that I can fault these knives for. They are actually pretty heavy overall - which I really like. They are plenty shart and have every knife I use on a regular basis included.Get some steak knives and this set and you are good-to-go.As an aside, I always get black-handled knives. These white handles actually look very attractive.A knife's looks are of little importance to me, but I am pointing this out as these may look particularly nice in some decors.Highly recommended.

very nice * they do lack a way to safely store them, though.
I love the color of these, with their handles being such a light color.... I feel like utensils of this sort are usually a boring black or made of some sort of wooden material. They're definitely of good quality, but I haven't had them long nor have I used them numerous times. This is the sort of item that needs to be used for a bit in order to make a more educated review of their quality and ease of use. What I do know for next time I purchase something of this sort (to any of you out there who isn't familiar with buy and/or owning a sets of knives), these clearly do not come with a block to keep them in, nor do they have any sort of cover for the sharp blades. This is something that didnt even cross my mind until I opened the package and hand-washed them before use.... I was wondering where/how the heck I was going to store these-- i mean, its a set, so it's not just 1 small knife you need to find a spot for.... there are 7 that need a resting place. So that's definitely something to keep in mind. They seem to be worth the price, but I've also never shopped for a knife set. The information guide they provide in the box, makes note that they offer a lifetime warranty for the knives, which can put your mind at ease knowing you have that added cushion if the set doesn't hold up as it was supposed to.Personally, if I were to purchase another set, id have to get something that came with a block that I could keep them in, or coverings for their blades. The thought of reaching into a drawer only to have Freddy Kruegers hand laying in there and ready to slice me and dice me, is quite worrisome (and unrealistic, but you get the drift)

Sharp set that looks great on the counter
Got this knife set as a gift for my wife in our kitchen and it’s been a nice upgrade. The knives came sharp right out of the box and have handled everything from veggies to meat without any trouble. The set looks nice too and the handles feel solid and well-balanced.The blades are smooth and cut clean without needing a lot of pressure. I like that the set covers all the basics so you’re not missing anything for everyday cooking. The gift box it came in was a nice touch and made it feel more high-end.Some reviews said the knives might dull quicker over time. Haven’t had them long enough to say for sure but so far they’re holding their edge fine.Good value for the price and they look just as good as they work. I’ll update if anything changes with regular use.

Incredible Quality and Value For Such a Low Price
This is a comprehensive set of the knives that I use most often in every day kitchen use. I tested each knife, and quite honestly, each knife is extremely sharp and will cut through just about anything. I have several high-end knives, and these knives match the other knives not only in sharpness, but in construction as well. The big difference is that this set has plastic handles with rivets, while my higher end knives have elaborate wood or metal handles. Still, the construction is much the same--German stainless steel, One-piece steel blade. This aspect is important, so these knives will be able to be further sharpened on down the road in the future. Even though the handles on this set are plastic, they definitely have a beautiful look to them. They actually catch your eyes and demand attention. Once in you hand, they feel balanced and ergonomically correct with each movement of the hand. For me, this has been a great lesson in value. I have spent $100 on a high-end knife, that has the same sharpness and the same feel as its counterpart in this set. The catch is that this set of 7 costs less than one simple knife from the high-end, making this set a true value for the money. To be perfectly frank and 100% honest, this set is actually a steal for the money. I doubt there is a set on the market that has this quality for this low price. Just saying . . .
