Got this for my son in law for Christmas. It really is a beautiful display piece.

This Blantons display was a great surprise when the light came on and it started changing colors. I thought it was a, pick your own color, display but this worked out even better honestly. My boyfriend loved this over the other ones available. We plugged in a usb block that wasn't good enough and it wasn't working. After plugging it in a different one it came of easy. No Regrets here!!

This is a very nicely built item, I’m very disappointed that I can’t change the colors. It came with a USB cord (no power source ) with only a ON / OFF button.

I'll just make my own from an old chopping block I have. Fifteen minutes with a drill, some glue, and a proper LED puck light that lets me CHOOSE my color and DIM the light to my preference without overheating my stupidly overpriced bourbon (like this item here) should be much better and much cheaper than this thing. I guess if you don't know how to drill through wood, this was made for you though! Barnum & Bailey had a saying about that.... ;-)

The base is made of real, solid wood, and the cutouts are wide enough that the stoppers easily drop in without force. The color cycling light is nice but your only choices are off/on. You can't specify a color nor style nor brightness.Also, there's no power supply. Just a USB connector for power.
