Turn your Weber into a fancy ceramic fire box BBQ
Very simple to assemble. Turns your 22 inch Weber into an expensive kabado. For 135 bucks. It will be the best money you ever spent on your old Weber! Once that ceramic plates get hot, they stay hot for a long current time. Perfect for briskets and pork loins and anything you want to cook low and slow. But it's also capable of intense heat and I can attest to over 700° with my pizza cooker attachment.

Makes your grilling better
I actually loved this. It makes the temperature on my Weber grill very stable so once I set it I know it will maintain. Used it for smoking and grilling. Highly recommend it!

Terrific Accessory! Crappy Clips!
I've found that in colder weather this system really works well. Less fuel consumed, and because you don't need a really large bank of coals temps are easier to dial in.The grates need to be elevated an inch or two to accommodate the ceramic deflector. Thin metal clips are provided that slip over the kettle's original support tabs and boost grate position the required amount. These clips are the weak point of the system. Prone to slipping off the kettle tabs and falling below the fire basket. Not the strongest attachment to the kettle's tabs either, the grate shimmies and shakes.

Game changer
Fits perfect in Weber and easy to fit/install the pieces. The deflector worked perfectly for baking a pizza directly on a pizza stone on top of the grill. The deflector is heavy duty. We are able to cook Mongolian grill or Korean BBQ without destroying the aluminum drip plate they come with. I highly recommend to expand grilling possibilities.

The frugal man’s Green egg or Kamado Joe
I bought this for my now over ten year old 22inch Weber kettle grill I also bought the pizza oven made by the same company that is for the Weber kettle grill. The combination makes the best pizza for outside of actual brick oven. ( I suggest you buy a fan and fan controller mod like pit viper from BBQ guru to push hot air from the fire up into the pizza oven) (I also suggest to use wood charcoal and better and hotter burning wood charcoal like binchotan from jealous devil) with this setup I was able to easily push over 1000 F in the fire and heat the oven close to 850 F. The outside of the grill was only reading about 250F so the refractory is very good… I highly recommend this product and to be honest it’s a no brainer. This product should just come with the Weber kettle grill… Also for the performance I don’t know why anyone would even think about the other way more expensive alternatives…. Just get it you won’t regret it.

Real piece of equipment!!!
This device is a legit alternative to a full blown ceramic grill.I used it once, but it's out the box performance was impressive.I smoked a corned beef on Easter. Used my vortex funnel to help with a snake method charcoal layout in the kettle. Tossed in 3 pieces of pecan chunk. Used about 8 pieces of charcoal. Got the coals going. Put the defuser in place (it doubles as a pizza stone)Dialed in the vents and the kettle held a steady 275 for 4 hrs.Smoked 3 separate times.....Didn't have to add coals until hr 5 or 6.Used 1/2 as much charcoal as I would've without the device.Took the leftovers to work Monday. Passed out 5 sandwiches.Had 3 dudes run me down to thank me for the incredible sandwichesOther 2 thanked me off tops.This ceramic basket for a kettle is a must have.I have the rotisserie from onlyfire too.I see that making an incredible pork shoulder, chicken.The ceramic add will help you go lower temp for longer to properly smoke fish too.$100. Buy it vs $500 for a mini tabletop egg type grill.

Great addition to the Weber grill
I used this set for the first time last Sunday, set up was easy and straight forward. I used it to make a rotisserie chicken that turned out great. The even heating it provides allowed me to cook the chicken in about one hour and fifteen minutes. It had a crisp skin and remained moist inside the chicken. The next use will be to do a slow cook of a pork shoulder. Cheers!
