Works great in the Losi nascar! Bought it as a gift for my friend and he loves it!!

I purchased this to upgrade my typhon grom. It fits perfectly with no modifications the holes match stock mounting plate it’s a good size for this small car. Just on 2S it’s a rocket. Perfect for the arrma groms

I used this kit in a Arrma Granite Grom. I ended up going with 18T/59T gearing and sticking to 2s. It's now considerably faster than stock without being uncontrollable. I don't think I could do 3s without putting a gyro receiver in it, and even then I really don't think I'm interested in the truck being any faster than it is. I have a MAX6 Sledge if I wanna go fast. Lol. Certainly an improvement over stock brushed though. I just wanted a bit faster than stock and I have definitely achieved that and then some.The motor seems good, quality made and runs midly warm for the most part with my current gearing and 2s with no fan on the motor, just the stock Arrma heatsink. It is a 3.175mm (1/8") output shaft though, so you will have to get one of the Arrma 3.2mm M0.5 pinions and if you go with something other than stock 16T gearing like I did you will need their motor mount assortment kit. It also has M3 mounting screws which means you'll need to drill out the holes in the motor mount and use some button head M3 screws. I do see the bigger shaft as a good thing as I've heard people say that the 2.3mm shafts can break pretty easily once you get into these higher power levels. The M3 mounting screws, meh, I had to do a tiny bit of trimming to the inside of the top cover of the gearbox to allow the button head screws to fit. M2.5 like the stock motor would have been fine, but oh well.The ESC However is terrible. As others have mentioned it has some really odd braking behavior. What I've noticed on mine is that if I hit the brake gently then release, it'll just go full brake and lock up the wheels. Makes it hard to slow down after a speed run without spinning out. It also means you're going to have no air control as others have mentioned in reviews. It also runs hotter than I'd expect considering I'm only on 2s and this 4500KV combo is aimed more at 3s. I've ordered a HobbyWing QUICRUN 16BL30 to replace the ESC from this combo and expect it will be a lot better.Like I said the motor seems good but given I don't like the ESC at all, if I did it again I would get a 2838 motor for around $15-20 from someone else and then get a better ESC (HobbyWing) to go along with it from the start instead of getting this kit. Maybe some of these ESC issues can be solved by changing some of the settings, but given it doesn't come with a programming box, it should come with better settings out of the package.

The media could not be loaded. I have two of theses systems. One in my arrma granite grom and one in my latrax Teton. Ground use they're great! Plenty of power. There is a downside however. If you plan to jump with these power systems, it's a no go. The ESC is just junk for that aspect. If you're mid air an give it a bit of throttle it's as if the ESC is throttle matching the radio. It will somewhat brake the motor and launch you forward. Hooked up another ESC and it works flawlessly. The motor seems to be of good quality but the ESC is kind of just a POS.
