Solve your key issue without breaking your wallet
Item as described. Bought from seller. Took to local Ford dealer and told them previous owner had spares they never cut. Charged me $10 a key to cut. You can program them yourself as long as you have two programmed keys. Can find it on YT. Worked perfectly to solve spare key issue on 2010 Explorer.

That it worked
This absolutely worked. For people using Forscan software or similar, if your programmed PATS key count is zero or 1 after trying to program a fake or dud, this will automatically add itself to PATS.If you have the normal 2 admin keys, I think you have to use both those to add a third key or more. Sometimes people have two keys but the second is a clone of the first one. That system won't work to add more. But you could probably find a locksmith to clone again. My original key actually has the lock buttons on it but I realized I didn't need or want those plus they're more expensive. I have a separate keyless generic fob that I can use for unlocking the doors.

Cannot be used to start the car.
This key fits but cannot be used to start the car. The theft light goes off and the car will not start when this key is tried in the ignition.

Nice key blank replacement
Great replacement for the original key. Was able to mill out and program myself and it was not that difficult. They are high quality and are very similiar to the oem key. They fit and worked great once milled and programed and are awesome for the price

Why spend 100 dollars at the store? Just buy this one and have them cut it.
I purchased this key for 10 dollars and drove over to my local Ace hardware store to have them cut it. They charged me 25 dollars for a side cut. The key smith asked if it was an Ace key because it looked exactly like the ones they sold. I asked him to show me and he pulled it up on the screen. Unfortunately, he didn't have one in stock for a photo compare. Here's the thing, their key (including the cut) was 99.99. That means they sold the identical looking key for 75 dollars.I programmed this one it and worked perfectly! 35$, all in!

it works for 1999 ford f350
the guy who made it into a duplicate was worried that the middle line was not the same width as my normal key and said it might not work, but it started the truck right up.
