Royal Talens - Rembrandt Professional Water Colour - Metal Box of 12 Pans with Sable Brush - Basic Set

This is a beautiful little compact set. Well made metal box/palette with a positive closure action. Very well packaged on arrival in it's own Rembrandt box and sleeve. The quality of the paints are outstanding and the selection, personally speaking, is just about perfect for 12 colours. The pigment is smooth and intense and activates very easily from solid. Without doubt it's now my favourite compact set (and I have many!).

A beautiful watercolour box which is pocket sized and ideal for field colour studies as well as for small indoor work. The casing is well made, robust and has two foldout palettes which can be used for washes, possessing an adequate depth. The paint half pans are of exceptional quality. The box itself comes in a well made, durable presentation box. Everything about this product speaks quality.

The pans move all the time and sometimes when I open the case some of them are out of their place, because they aren't hold properly, they move while you are trying to get the paint. I am thinking of buying a magnetic tape to hold them properly.Colours are nice and the size of the case is the best part of it, but taking in account the price and the name of the manufacturer "Rembrandt" to be much better.

Good quality watercolour, very nice packaging and comes in metallic case. Brush which comes with it is useless though.

The paints are excellent. The sable brush keeps falling out of its holder into the water pot, so it not really reliable.

I absolutely love these paints. They flow beautifully and is just the right size for travel.
