This is expensive compared to other brushes I have bought, however, it is the best brush I have for daily brushing and removing small tangles in the fur. I have a long haired, double coated dog and this is the first brush that has left his coat feeling soft. He hates being brushed, but doesn’t mind this brush. It is important to watch a video about how to use this brush properly as you can hurt the dog’s skin if used incorrectly. I am pleased with this purchase.

I've few different slickers but this by far best

I’ve been using this on my cockapoo I home groom and have left his coat a little longer. This brush works well on his coat he has thick curly coat using this brush it appears to get out a lot more of the dander than his other slicker brushes ( ido collect brushes lol) it seems well made time will tell if it last I do brush my boy most days sometimes twice if he needs it so far this brush is doing a very good job it has to types of pins as described the softer or gray side is great to finish him it fluffs his coat and straighten his curlyI recommend this brush and will buy again at some point

The slicker glides though the matts and knots, it’s comfortable to use. I have two dogs, Pomeranian and a puppy pooshon. They both are very active dogs and love to explore and get their fur all knotted up with sticky buds stuck all over their fur. This slicker brush just glides though so easy and without pain to my dogs. The slicker has two sides the black side is for the matts and knots the other side is too fluff up their fluff.110% Recommend this slicker brush, it’s easy to use value for your money especially in the long run.If you don’t believe me go buy it and try it out. Your dog or cat will Love you for it.I also use this slicker on my male cat and he paws at me to get the slicker out and brush him and he likes to run the sides of his face on itThe amount of fluff that I got of my two dogs and cat was insane. My old slicker that I have had for 18 years has always been my go to for all my fur baby’s and I always recommend it but now that slicker can retire because this double sided slicker is here to stay lol

Had high hopes for this flexible slicker brush, however it does not do a good job. Yes it’s gentle and very flexible, but so much so it doesn’t properly detangle long hair. It glides easily through the dog coat but doesn’t remove mats. Also some of the pins have started to bend. Disappointed and have returned the item.
