Sturdy. Stiff as in they didn't crinkle so far.

It works
I was beyond tired of being choked to death with the regular seatbelt. I even had a cushion strap added. I finally decided to try this item to get some relief from the constant rubbing of the seatbelts. I just got this item last night and we went out and I tried it. It sure helped me. Going on a long trip next week and needed something to alter the height of the regular seatbelt.
