This is a really good size and a strong price. It looks fantastic, with the reflective surfaces within the stone, I can see the reflection/shiny parts if I walk back and forth in a lighted area/move it around in my hand. Really nice gift. I might buy another for myself sometime. I looked for a few pyrite stones before picking this one, this had the best price and size and I'm glad I chose this.

The pyrite that I settled for had a gold tone in the picture with cubes like texture on top of it, I bought on that premise. What I received was bigger than expected but far uglier; it's a grey sandy rock, quite unattractive and dull looking leaving a sandy mess behind. I hated it and re-packaged immediately to return it.

Its very grainy with no points. It can only be enjoyed in direct sunlight or flashlight.

Gorgeous chunk of pyrite, however the picture used for sale is a poor example of average pyrite. Pyrite is not that typically that gold, nor is the rock I received.
