Always have this pickle back when I use to live in Japan and I'm glad I found it on Amazon as I can order it at any time I fancy also my son enjoys it so we order it a lot. Nice to eat with rice and fish with seaweed.

Radish is great, the pot isn't worth the extra.
The radish is excellent. The pot is very small and low quality it's arrived split on one side, unusable now. I wouldn't bother with getting the pot again.

Good, but not great
Usually I make these at home, it’s extremely easy, but it’s hard getting the large white radish in my rural area and I have to wait till we go to Birmingham to get some. I love to just snack on these and they are great with a lot of Asian dishes not just Korean. These aren’t bad, but they aren’t the best either.Have a slightly chemical aftertaste to them and a little rubbery on the outside not giving the real crisp crunch of some of other brands I have tried.Still good value for the price that you spend and you get a itty bitty container that only really holds half of one of the radish. If you are looking to make your own it’s just Sugar, Salt, turmeric, water and vinegar. You can add corrander seed, dill or even Korean chilly flake for a little kick if you desire.

Not the best
This product starts out well with a lovely tangy aroma, but after eating , it just tastes like artificial sweetener. Very sickly in a very unnatural way. I couldn’t eat more than a couple of little slices.

yellow pickled radish
What are Yellow Pickled Radishes? Sweet and tart slices of yellow pickled daikon, known as takuan in Japan and danmuji in Korea, are usually eaten on their own as a side or in dishes like sushi and kimbap. It cuts through spice nicely, or some people also eat a few slices after a main meal to aid in digestion.According to an article(by Chelsea Debret) on onegreenplanet.org, pickled radish has “wonderful health benefits” on improving digestive system health, managing healthy weight, reducing inflammation, boosting immune system, and fighting against depression and anxiety.Takuan pickles have a distinct appearance and even more distinct flavor. They are long, somewhat thin, and bright yellow. Their flavor is crunchy, salty, slightly spicy and surprisingly sweetThey are just as nutritious as fresh vegetables. That being said, it is worth noting that the pickling process does use a lot of salt and sugar. It is important to keep this in mind and, just like everything else, eat pickled radishes in moderationI just love it!I encourage you to give it a try!
