The position of the mid-range hump in this pedal will send you Tele and Strat players all the way to TONE TOWN! With more balls than a OD-9, and more drive than a OD-808, the VOP-9 works well for clean boost, with or without grit, and will deliver all the smooth green box overdrive you could ever want. This pedal sounds great with my P-90 SG, and may work well for humbucker equipped guitars that I don't have, but for single coil players, looking for a classic overdrive with that extra special something, this is, THE ONE !!!!!
