Used to turn a water heater om/off.
The LCLCTC 3 Phase Solid State Relay SSR-40AA AC to AC was mounted inside a steel box and is being used to turn a 230-volt water heater on/off. The steel box will act as a heat sink. A timer controls the relay. The SSR works as expected. I am satisfied with the performance. I recommend the product.

Quality Solid state relay
The led indicator lights comes on a bit prematurely. Illuminates before there's enough voltage to actually activate the relay. Other than that this works fine. To handle heavy loads without any problem. Can function for three phase or any three pole single throw load.

Solid state relay for single or three phase, LED turns on before relay does
Works as expected and could be used for single or three phase or even three separate circuits possibly. The switched portion of this is totally independent of each other so can use anything from one to all three of them. Appeared to turn on at around 60-70V input which is close to specs, but the LED indicator turned on before at like 20V. I think this really should be changed so the LED turns on closer to or when the relay does. as this could cause confusion if trying to diagnose an issue. Even has an insulated cover for it, I really like this but the LED issue is kind of a big deal too I think.
