This Security Camera is Fantastic!
This Security Camera is Fantastic! Let me explain my use case so that you can understand why I like this camera so much. I have elderly parents that live very far from me. They do well on their own, but I worry about them. Sometimes they can not be reached by phone, which makes me anxious. I started looking at security cameras, but cost, function, and quality were major considerations.PROs: This camera uses a smart phone for viewing, which is an item that is typically on my person. Also, this meant I did not have to pay for any included video monitor. The camera operates in SD, HD, and QHD format that allows great resolution (up to 2K). The app allows the video to be seen in full screen, or about half screen with the controls also available (i.e., Screenshot, Intercom, Record, Motion Detection, PTZ point-tilt-zoom, Lens Switch that shuts on-off the video). The motion tracking feature means that it points the camera where there is movement. I don't have to manually adjust the camera to where my family is located in the room. The camera swings 355 degrees around and pivots up and down. Because the camera moves on its own, they do not know if I'm actively viewing. Also, the camera is extremely quiet. They have forgotten it is even there. I've been able to see them in bandwidth limited areas. An added bonus is I can talk to them if needed through the camera. The camera does NOT come with a memory card, but I had an extra one lying around and added a 32GB card. (It takes up to 128 GB.) I've set the recording to motion events only, which consumes about 1GB per day in the room they spend most of their waking hours. Essentially, the camera gives me a 30 day history. I can check if they took all their pills and if they have been in or out of their house (because they are not answering the phone). The app allows two fingered zoom and one fingered pointing adjustment, and all frames are date and time stamped, which really helps when viewing the history. The camera also has a night viewing feature that illuminates the room with IR so the image can still be seen in the dark. Finally, I've had family members download the app and shared control of the camera. We can all help keep an eye on them. (The app clearly walks you through the features and is easy to use.)CONs: The camera pointing can be controlled in the app by an up-down-left-right cursor. This control is a little slow at times, but with movement tracking, I rarely use it. There is a very slight color shift in the non-IR image, but I don't notice it anymore. The cost is low compared to other products. Registering the product is supposed to provide lifetime replacement. The features are exactly what I wanted and work really well. There is a wall or ceiling mounting kit included that I did not use. The power source is a USB wall charger and standard USB cable. This is nice because I could use a longer cable if I needed. (The included cable length was just fine ... about 5-6 feet.) I highly recommend this security camera system.

Hard to beat for the price ... five stars for value!
Technology is really something. I'm an electrical engineer, and I'm still amazed. What once cost hundreds of dollars is now selling for less than $30.I was impressed with the resolution, and the ability to continuously record onto an SD memory card. These are so easy to set up, using your local wi-fi and cell phone. The cost was so low I put several in my house, in different rooms. While on vacation, I was able to check on the condition of the house at any time, from a thousand miles away. Marvelous!Even at night, the quality of the picture was pretty good. The only quibble I have is the same thing I've seen in other brands - motion detection catches just about anything that happens, including changes in the light. So, for example, if there is a tree outside a window that moves with the wind, and the shadows in the room change, this will trigger motion detection, and start recording. Car headlights in the street outside? The same thing. That is why I turn off motion detection and record continuously. Because if you get an SD card of a decent size, you can hold roughly two days of video in the camera. And you don't want to get an alert on your phone every time the wind blows! Just in case you were wondering, continuous recording means it writes over the memory, starting at the beginning, so you always have two days of video. If you are gone for a week, you will have the last 48 hours recorded (or more, if you get a really big SD card!).Oh yes, the built in microphone and speaker are pretty great too! The sound quality is not very good, they could definitely improve that. But it will get the job done. If you need to tell a burglar to leave, or say hi to the house sitter, you can do that easily. In short, these cameras are pretty great. Not perfect, but this much capability for $30 is fantastic. Great for monitoring the house, a vacation cabin, or even helping out the babysitter.

Great Cameral
We have a professionally installed security system for the outside of our home. We wanted a camera in the living area which we purchased this camera for. We were so happy with it and the ease of set up and the great picture quality that we ordered this cameral for our garage. The price is amazing and the quality is first rate. Try this camera and I think you'll order more than one.

Gets the job done
The media could not be loaded. The process of setting up the app/your account is very easy and easy to navigate. The camera is not very big which I liked. It moves smoothly and quietly. You can view the camera footage in portrait mode or landscape. The app has 2x zoom capability. I found that zooming in was easier with the portrait mode than the landscape mode. There was more of a lag on the landscape mode than there was in portrait mode. That clarity in the camera was pretty good. You could still read the box from about a foot away. This camera is a decent option for Wi-Fi cameras, but since I got it as a baby monitor option I prefer the Bluetooth camera/monitor option better. The Wi-Fi camera did have a lag and if the Wi-Fi goes out the camera won’t be of much use vs the Bluetooth camera/monitor option.

The best camera ever
I love this camera because of it’s quality. It take clear pictures and great night vision photos. Not only does it take great motion pictures. It also detect noise. That way if you are asleep it will pick up if someone was to walk in the room or breaking a window. It also pick up the sound of your TV and other noise in the room. It will rotate around the room with any motion. This camera is very easy to set up. Just follow the instructions. I recommend this camera to anyone to use in their home to make it safe. Everything comes up on you phone and you can see if you are away from home. It will notify you if there is a motion in the room it’s in. I bought this camera in July and it’s still going strong. There is a charge for the app and it’s $28.49 for six months, I hope this helps someone when looking to buy.
