Karcher Genuine Original K3/K4 Series Pressure Washer Outlet Connection Cover

This replaced an old elbow that had split at the seam on the inside of the corner.Installation is easy but you do need a suitable Torx head (T15) screwdriver to take the body of the washer apart.There is a metal clip that slides out and the elbow simply pulls out of its socket. There is an 'O' ring in this joint so don't lose it or the metal clip as they aren't supplied.Whole job took under ten minutes and pressure washer is working fine again.

NOTE: you will need to have a replacement O-Ring seal as this does not come with one. The seal fits inside the elbow where the retaining clip is.The thread had gradually worn down on my outlet as I had been using a metal threaded extension pipe. After a while the pressure just blew the fitting off and it had stripped the thread. Fitting this was easy enough, but I did have to remove the outer cover (8 torx screws). Then pull out a retaining clip and the the outlet elbow can be pulled free. Popped in a new seal, replaced all the parts and I was up and running in no time.The elbow works perfectly. Fortunately I had a new O-ring seal to hand otherwise I might have been a bit miffed. Not going to mark it down for that, but it would help customers if a new seal was provided.

Unfortunately this item did not fit my pressure washer, I have the k3. Had to also purchase special screwdrivers to remove the casing only to find this item did not fit. So I've wasted my money.Worried to re order in case the same happens again.Thank you
