Nikon D5000 Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm VR Lens Kit (12.3MP) 2.7 inch LCD (Renewed)

I bought this camera as a replacement for one which had worked faultlessly for 10 years. The only reason for replacing the original was that it fell out of my camera case onto a solid floor and the shutter jammed. Why did I buy exactly the same again instead of trading up to a more expensive model? Partly because of the price when money is short and partly because I sometimes use it in an astronomical observatory where it is attached to a telescope. I know my way around the camera in the dark which by necessity observatories must be. A third point is that my camera travels with me everywhere I go and spends a lot of time on a tractor next to me because I am a farmer and like a camera with me for wildlife and scenic photographs. This is a hard life for any camera and because my last camera had survived for 10 years I was more than happy to buy the same again.As for buying from this seller, I am very happy with their service. I paid extra for next day delivery and they dispatched it within an hour or so. The post office were the let down after that and it took them about 44 hours to get it to me but I cannot blame the seller for that.I took 500 photos in the first week and all is working perfectly so far and this is why I have given 5 stars.

I bought this camera based on reviews for my son who is taking a photography class.However having read the camera spec once the camera was received, it was not good enough.I returned it within a few days using the same packaging , but still waiting for a refund 10x days later 🙄Lesson is do more research pre order & save lots of tedious refund chasing 😑

I loved all the photos that I took with the camera they were all sharp and clear. As I go on a lot of walking and photographic holidays with HF Holidays I like to take photos of the countryside and things that interest me.There was only one thing missing which would have been useful and that was the user manual.

I was so impressed with the condition of this camera, it looks brand new. It was a brilliant buy.

Full image control from careful composed scenes (with very wide range of Apeture/Shutter settings) to quick reaction shots (ultra quick 'auto' feature) plus many more features - probably more than I'll ever use - bought as reconditioned, received as brand new - would highly recommend this supplier
