I read that the adhesive would eventually give. It only made sense that a heavy blanket would not stay up with adhesive alone. Since it was long - 86", I put about 1/2" of fabric over the door frame at the top. I put the adhesive strip on the top of the door first, then carefully placed the blanket onto the strip. I rolled up the extra at the bottom. That way it would hold the blanket up better, when the door is closed; in addition to the Velcro and adhesive. I used 2 strong magnets that I had laying around at the bottom, just to keep the blanket up against the door. The door really pinched the blanket at the top - it's not going anywhere! Sometimes, you just have to use common sense to make it work! I am using mine as a sound barrier.

Used this for a bit but for the money it isn’t really as good as normal moving blankets in terms of material for dollar it is much more expensive. Granted it looks better than moving blankets but if sound or thermal insulation is your priority you could do better for cheaper by using a couple standard moving blankets layered.

I purchased this product to reduce the sound of noisy neighbors and roommates that are easily audible through my door.The product was simple to install, but defective. No noise reduction was noticeable. I ran trials where I played music from a separate room, and there was no difference between having the cover on my door or off. If you are purchasing this product for this purpose, you should look elsewhere

Hung this on my teenagers door frame to give him a little more privacy and protection from the rest of our noisy house. Very easy to set up and hang, and well constructed. Recommended.

I measured my door before buying and the measurements were off by a lot. it did block out sound though so thats a plus. I returned it and got sum else but i would buy if i need it.

We bought this primarily for noise reduction. We live in a basement unit that shares a stair hallway with the upstairs unit. The door that separates us is a hollow door and did not block out much noise from the upper unit. We bought two of these, and placed one on the door and also at the bottom of the stairs. This significantly reduce the noise Coming from the upstairs unit. We initially used the adhesive tape to put up these panels, but after maybe a couple weeks one fell down and then the other fell down so we had to use the screws and hook that it came with.

To put in front of north door to keep the cold out. I liked the thickness of the material.

The fabric was lighter than I had hoped. It cuts out some of the noise but a thicker material would have done better. Should also come with sticky strips on sides.

so pissed off overpriced and now I get it and its to smallI used a tape measure made sure to get right size for door when orderingI guess in China math is different

they said it is sound proof I didn't find not even 1 % deferent
