Well worth the price.
I have a drawer full or two of folders. Mostly inexpensive as I have found the more expensive ones aren't really that much better for my purposes. Kershaw makes excellent. Inexpensive knives as do some other makers. This one is very elegant, the assisted opening is very good, the alignment when closed is very good, and the lockup is better than many. I am very happy with this purchase.

I probably bought 10 smith & Wesson knifes from Amazon and most come perfectly fine but some get loose from being in my backpack or may take a while to break in but THIS KNIFE is solid all around especially for the price. I got for 17 something but I’d after messin with it I’d pay up to $30-$45. It’s not too big and not too small and had a good weight and is pretty sharp out of the box.Highly recommend!

Nicest crude custom looking knife!
Smith & Wesson has done a pretty nice job with this knife, but it is lacking a bit in overall quality.It's a flipper, so why does it have thumb studs?He might say as an optional way of opening it.That would be great, but they are not functional at all!How hard you press or where you press on thumb studs they will not engage the blade!How stupid is that?The blade is razor sharp out of the box and the brushing on the blade uniform, so that's all fine and dandy, but when it comes to the scales of the knife, there's a little bit more variance than I would like between the mating surfaces of the wood and the stainless steel.The stainless steel is very sharp on its edges where it meets the wood scales, and one of the wood scales is a bit more recessed than I would like to see.The very sharp stainless edge tends to cut into your your skin slightly and will need a bit of touch up with a fine file, but overall, I'd say at this price, it's a definite buy.
