Love this product! It smells amazing and our 2yrs old likes using it which is always a win! We try to get "cool hipster cuts" for our little one and they always look amazing after leaving the salon, but we hated the products they use as they are all full of nasty junk and are very hard to get out of his hair at bath/shower time... I found hot tot online on a mom's site and now can recreate that great salon look without putting any harmful chemicals in our little guys hair. He looks so stylish every time and we get endless compliments on how his style holds after play dates and busy days at the park. We use this whip and the spray together, works every time!

I was really excited to try this hair product for my son. It smells pretty nice like baby powder, and it has a thick creamy texture to it. It's very hard to spread into his hair, though. Wherever you put it on the hair, it kind of stays globbed in that area and is hard to work through the rest of it. I would recommend rubbing it into your hands first and then trying to evenly work it into the hair. Once you get it on evenly, it's really easy to style. I use it to keep my baby's hair from sticking straight up every now and then, and it does the job. The problem is it seems to totally disappear from his hair after an hour or two. You have to keep reapplying, so don't expect an all-day hold.

Bought this for my grandson (6 months old) who is growing a full head of hair......straight up! He has fine hair but it stands straight up. Just needed something to tame it a little and didn't want anything stiff or sticky. This was perfect! Not sticky or stiff and just calms down the fly away and straight up strands (bonus: smells great too!). Lasts throughout the day too. Definitely buying this again.

My son has extremely sensitive skin, so when I found this product, I was really excited. However, within the first few days of use, my son's forehead broke out into a terrible rash.On a positive note, the product smells nice and served its purpose. It is a pomade, so I didn't expect an all-day hold (especially with an active two-year-old boy). I believe that if you're looking for more of an all-day hold, you should also purchase their finishing mist.

I saw this product on Sharktank and was really excited. My daughter has curly hair but I try to smooth out the top and let the curls be on the bottom half. I was anxious about using regular products with all of their unknown ingredients and was really excited to try this natural product out. It leaves a very greasy look, the smell could be better and the hold, well let's say it does not hold at all. I also bought the finishing spray and I am disappointed with that as well. I wish I could get my money back. What's the point of the product if it doesn't work?? I might as well just use water. Her hair would not look greasy and it would have the same look as if the product was in it...messy and uncontrolled. By the way, it is cold and not humid right now where I live so if this product was going to work, the weather would not have been a factor in this case.

My 3.5 year old has baby-fine hair that's prone to static, flyaways and morning bedhead. This cream does a very nice job controlling those, without making her hair sticky or greasy (as long as you are careful not to use too much) I've looked around a lot, and there seems to be no other product of its kind at all.There's a lot of mixed feedback in the other reviews about the fragrance. I actually agree with both sides - it's a very nice fragrance, but there's a little too much. My suggestion to the makers would be to not change the fragrance, just use a little less if it. I will say my daughter likes it though, enough that she's more cooperative about letting me fix her hair and even wants to apply it herself.My only other criticism is about the packaging. The jar got knocked onto the floor which caused the clear plastic top part of the lid to shatter. I had to remove the jagged pieces that remained in order not to get scratched or cut. I can still close the jar but it's a little awkward. Not a big problem, but I was asked for my feedback and that's something I'd change for future production.My daughter and I both quite like this product and will continue to use it.

My little man is 7 months old and this works GREAT for spiking his hair. It doesn't harden hard enough to hurt him or pull hair, but his hair will stay upright all day. You don't have to use a lot either! I read a bunch of other reviews on this and some people said it had an "old lady smell"....it does lol, but it's not completely unpleasant so I'm not worried about it. I'm soooo glad I bought it and I'll be buying it again.

and you are willing to pay twice the value of an item to FEEL as though you are protecting your child, here is his hair product! Protecting our children is the most important thing in the world if we are good parents, but it is so important not to major on the minors while ignoring the real dangers.This pomade is good stuff. goes a long ways. But hair really is just dead cells. Want to save your kid? Throw out your TV, get him out of government school, take him to church and make him work. a lot. Take away sugar and video games. Read to him. Buy him books.If you still have any energy after that then get him some healthy hair gel. Hot Tot is a great choice!
