This worked great for a few years until I got a new laptop that is not a surface.

will not charge a Surface pro laptop. Left me stranded.

I plugged it to my work monitor to charge surface pro 6. Charging no issues.

Windows 11 repeatedly flashes Slow Charger error notification when using this charger, no matter how robust the USB-C PD port it is plugged into. The message suggests using the charger that came with the computer instead. If it only displayed once, I could ignore, but it flashes this message multiple times per minute.

It didn't charge and now the charging cable that came with my surface won't charge my surface pro either.Damaged my surface pro. Don't if I'll be able to fix! If I could give it zero stars I would.

This is an excellent little cable that allows you to charge your Surface device with a USB-C charger while not having to give up a USB-C or Thunderbolt port to do it. The quick release connector feels exactly the same as the Microsoft version does but the other end has a USB-C connector.I travel with a few different multi-port USB-C PD GAN chargers like the ones you see from Anker. What I like about these chargers is that I can bring one charger for multiple devices which significantly cuts down on what I have to bring with me on a trip. This cable worked fine with my collection of chargers. You just need to check the specs to ensure that your charger can deliver at least 45 watts and supports the 15v/3amp charging spec.I tested this on my Surface Book Go 2 although I'm sure other Surface devices will deliver similar results.

I recently got a usb c charger that could do up to 100 watts. Seeing this cable I decided to give it a try, why carry around my full size charger for my surface if I could carry around something smaller? Long story short it works just as good as my original one!

this cable doesn't work with surface pro 3. the third party seller made excuses and tried to get me to buy a 65w charger, whenever i already have a 100w power bank.
