Last just as long as the Canon batteries
I really needed a couple of extra batteries for my Canon 70D and didn't want to pay for Canon brand so I tried these and I'm happy I did. They last just as long and even hold a charge if I don't use my camera for a couple of weeks. The external charger means I can charge more than one battery at night if I'm on a trip and need to have more than one with me during the day. The extra goodies are nice -- it's always good to have an extra lens cloth -- so this was a good deal. I've had these batteries for almost a year now and they still appear to hold a full charge so I've very happy with this choice. I was looking at other non-OEM batteries, but I'm glad I went with Vivitar because they're good quality. Highly recommend.

Quick charge at a good price
There are good reasons to buy Canon accessories for your Canon camera: they produce really high quality items. There are a few areas where I deviate from the brand name, though: batteries, filters, and lens hoods. There may be a small quality difference (assuming you select carefully), but you can buy a number of replacements for price of the Canon equivalent. When we purchased the Canon 70D recently, we needed to get new batteries (they don't use the same batteries as our old 50D). Reading reviews made me be careful about selecting non-Canon batteries, because apparently the Canon cameras don't always show the remaining battery life with non-Canon batteries. Based on the reviews I ready, I thought these should work and they do. The camera recognizes them properly. The charger (which has a handy car attachment) charges very quickly, which is handy. We were able to get one of these batteries charged and operating in the camera before we could charge the one that came with the camera using the Canon-supplied charger. So far, seems like a good purchase.

Good batteries... but without covers
The batteries do indeed charge in the Canon charger and work in my Canon EOS 70D camera. The camera shows the battery level. I have not used them long enough to find out how many times they can be recharged. One important thing to point out.... the batteries do not have the orange plastic battery covers, so they cannot be carried on or checked in on a plane. The covers are not that easy to find, but they can sometimes be purchased on eBay and shipped from China (under $5 shipped for a few covers, but expect them to take a month to arrive). Even after purchasing covers, the batteries are still way cheaper than the Canon branded batteries. The other items... the charger works from A/C although I purchased it to have for charging from my truck while on-the-go (I have not tested this yet). The cleaning kit is good quality as with all Altura accessories.

My first impression was wrong - battery life is unacceptable
UPDATE: 12-06-2015: I returned the batteries to Vivitar for replacements and they were no better than the initial one. I recommend avoiding these batteries.UPDATE 8-08-2015: I purchased the batteries and charging kit in December 2014 and first impressions were good for the few short photography treks, resulting in an initial five star review. My first real test of the batteries was for several days of extended shooting at the "Biggest Week in American Birding" at Magee Marsh at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge in May 2015. I shoot with a Canon EOS 7D Mark II and use the GPS feature built into the camera. The first battery lasted for approximately 70 shots before it died. After recharging the battery with the Canon charger the battery seemed to perform better - in the range of 300 to 400 shots, so I thought that if I used the Canon charger I might get better results. Well, not true. Next time out the battery repeated the 70 shots before it died. The second battery was much better initial, but also started providing inconsistent results. I am returning these to Vivitar for replacement. One final point I would like to mention, is that the Canon EOS 7D Mark II is tough on batteries, especially when using the GPS feature. It uses the battery even when it when the camera is turned off, so I often pull the battery out or open the battery cover door.

Avoid if you want a long lasting battery
(2 Pack) LP-E6 Battery and Charger Kit for CANON EOS is everything that it is presented to be. 2 LP-E6 batteries. AC and Car Charger. Brush, blower, and Microfiber Cloth. It was delivered within 2 days under Amazon Prime. As far as delivery and price goes, you can't beat it. I will update my review once I get to use the batteries. Only time will tell if the batteries were worth it.So after using the batteries for a few months, I can tell the Vivitar batteries do NOT hold their charge well compared directly to an OEM Canon LP-E6. The price is good because of all the included accessories, but had a known the batteries would NOT hold their charge, I would not have purchased it. It is still a good price, but NOT a great deal. I would rather pay the same price without the accessories and get two batteries that hold their charge. They hold about 70% charge of what a Canon Battery would hold. I am going to bite the bullet and buy Canon Branded batteries. It hurts, but it's true.

No complaints. So far so good. Saved a TON of money over factory branded batteries.
Works perfectly in my 6D. Used the two batteries on my hiking trip in Rocky Mountain National Park, and along Minnesota's North Shore in the various state parks along the scenic shoreline. Shot nearly 3000 photos with these two batteries plus my factory Canon battery. Never noticed a difference between the factory battery and these Vivitar branded ones. The charger works in the outlet. I haven't tried charging on the car carger cord yet.The extras that Goja throws in with the dust brush and blower etc are a nice bonus. Can't have too many spares when you're on the side of a mountain and you get a spec of snow or dust on your filter threads or on the lens themselves... or in my case, a tiny bug that somehow got onto the focusing screen in the body when I was changing lenses. Phew!!! got that guy out of there with the blower!
