Honeywell DC311N 150 m 3 Series Doorbell - White

I had one of these with two chimes but the door push stopped working. Was about to buy a new push when I noticed this chime and push was available cheaper than just replacing the push. Checked it worked on the same frequency and I now have a fully functioning door bell with three chimes to place around the house.This model is battery operated and can be placed and moved wherever you want it. The choice of melody is a bit limited but the chime gives a loud clear sound and you will know when you have visitors.Recommended and a good buy.

Not very loud bell easy to install

Easy to install and looks good once installed. That’s where good ends.The button has to be pushed very firmly and held for at least a second before it registers and sounds the chime: since most Amazon delivery drivers are in a massive hurry they don’t hold it long enough and end up knocking or taking the parcel next door.Also the battery life in the bell push unit is dreadful - I’m always having to change it.Finally this week after just three years of service the bell push finally stopped working altogether.A piece of utter rubbish from a company that used to make some of the finest business computers back in the day.

I have 3 units and one bell push - the sound the chimers make is loud. they work a long way from the bell push and we take the wireless one in the garden if we are expecting a delivery and think we might not hear the bell if we are outside. The bell push itself looks good and I have no trouble operating it, a red light comes on to let the visitor know it has worked. Some people however do bang on the door and claim the bell didn't work. But on testing it, it always does work, so they don't press it either hard enough or for long enough.

After 14 months the bell push has packed in, not certain if this isvthe cause but new batteries (duracell) seem to rundown quickly, and now even new dont make it work
