Great strings
I love these ball-end nylon strings from D'Addario. they're great all rounders and sound fantastic on both nylon and steel string guitars.I've tried other makes of ball-end nylons and these are the only ones I've found that are usable; the others were useless.A while back I had a few cases of these strings snapping overnight but this seems to have eased off. Perhaps a bad batch for some reason. If it starts happening again I'll edit my rating.I use the silver/black nylon version.

Nylon on a steel string guitar
Having always been one to experiment I put a set of these strings on an Ibanez steel string acoustic guitar, to be honest I wasn't expecting much but was very surprised at the sound I got once I had fiddled with the set up of the guitar. It did take a while for the strings to stretch and settle and keep in tune but once this was out of the way it played beautifully, even when amplified through the internal pickup as these strings have a steel core. Yes there are some purists who would say this is wrong but I for one am sticking with this, at least on one guitar to expand my sounds. Give it a try if you have a steel string acoustic laying around gathering dust, you might be as surprised as I was

Good sounding, overpriced. Rubbish ball ends.
The strings are overpriced. But I like the sound of the Folk strings. Nicer looking than clear nylon. They stay in tune once they are broken in. I wasn't impressed with the plastic ball ends because the knots come undone. It might be because our living room gets warmer in the summer. So now I have learnt to just tie the strings as per normal. After all, it's not really any effort, right?

Easy to string
I like this product. Bought a second hand guitar and strings were quite rusty-E A and D. Very pleased with sound and playability.

Great nylon strings for all accoustic guitar types
Value for money with strings generally is pretty poor, for some reason they have a very inflated price point across the entire market. These aren't any different from any others in that area. They are great strings that sound and feel good and I would recommend them to any guitarist looking to buy nylon strings for their accoustic guitar.

New strings and feel
I cleaned up an old Spanish guitar and decided it was easier to fit ball end strings. With these ‘folk’ strings the sound was definitely folkier rather than sounding classically Spanish, if that makes sense. If you could hear it you’d understand what I mean!

Great string sound
These strings sound amazing on an acoustic guitar, the have a deeper bass and a a nice twang. The only problem which is kind of nit picky in my opinion is the do go out of tune quite easily but that’s easily sorted just by re tuning. If you’re looking to turn your acoustic guitar into a classical I would recommend these over spending a decent amount on a classical guitar but if you’re going to be using them often I would highly recommend getting a classical guitar for the long run. All in all they’re great strings
