super thin, super cheap multiple rips with casuals use on a first domestic flight

I bought this pack to use as a personal item for airplane travel and before the first week of using it for travel, the step is beginning to pull out of the pack.

This is a quality backpack. It has a lot of very useful pockets, and seems to be very well made. The materials seem to be a very high quality. The zippers are working fantastically; they glide very smoothly and seem to be a great quality.The laptop pocket fits a smaller laptop (that it is designed for) very well. I put my 16” long (17” screen) laptop in it just to test it out and see if it would fit, too. I was able to zip it up without issue, although the laptop was right at the top of the bag.The front pocket has a lot of sections that are labeled to help you to keep your stuff organized. One of the pockets is a nice deep one that could easily fit another electronic device or something. It is about 13” deep there, but not quite wide enough for a letter-sized paper notebook. I did get some 8.5” x 11” loose paper to fit in there, but it is tight against the edges.The side pockets seem to be designed to hold various small electronics that you want to have easy access to. One of the side pockets has a hole for headphones, and there is also a hole that goes through the inside of the pocket inside the bag, in case you want to connect to something through both parts. I wish the mesh and elastic part on at least one of the side pockets was to the top of the side pocket so that it could be used to hold a water bottle if desired. The width of the pocket is enough for a water bottle, but it isn't deep enough to hold it securely. I tried my kid's Camelbak and that is ok, but I still don't plan to use it that way for fear of it falling out.

I must say that it has some nice materials and a clean, attractive design. The zippers also look quite substantial and can be locked, which provides an added layer of security.However, I did find that the access to the smaller pockets were somewhat small, making it difficult to access items at times. On the plus side, there are plenty of dividers, with reference images, so you can get a good idea of what type of item would fit in each pocket.One thing I did notice is that both the back of the pack and the straps don't have as much padding as high end name brand backpacks, which could make it uncomfortable if you're carrying a heavy load for extended periods of time. Additionally, I had some concerns about the durability of the straps when carrying a heavy load. So far it seems that it's holding fine and there is a one-year warranty that provides some peace of mind.I should note that the stitching on this backpack is very good, and there are box X stitches on the straps for added reinforcement. While it may not be the highest quality backpack I've seen, it does have a nice, professional look and seems well-suited for travel.Overall, I would recommend this backpack for someone looking for a smaller option, around 20L, with a sleek design and decent durability.

The media could not be loaded. Within 6 months the bag strap is coming loose and this was with seldom usage. I like the compact design but the straps, material and sewing is just terrible. Wish i could get another FocusedSpace bag. They had good material and sewing unmatched

I recently got a new laptop and have never had a backpack to carry one before, so when I came across this one, I loved the way it looked and seemed like it would fit my laptop perfectly along with accessories, so I went ahead and place an order for it.It came yesterday and I absolutely love it!First off, the size is perfect. My laptop is about 16 inches and it fits with a little more room to spare.It also has a few pockets and is sectioned off not only to hold the plug, but accessories and some other items that you may need.It is made really well, and I can tell it is going to be extremely durable and have a long life.It also looks fantastic.It feels great on and it is probably my favorite new backpack.I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this and look forward to using it when I travel.You will absolutely love this as well, and I definitely feel that it is worth every penny.I hope my review helps you to make a more well informed decision.

I mainly use this backpack to keep my cellphone, wallet, water bottle, etc. secure while I'm riding a motorcycle on the road or off-road on a four-wheeler. The small front pocket up top is just wide enough to fit a modern, full size cell phone. There are plenty of multiple sized pockets inside for extra items. Unfortunately, there is no hook inside for attaching a key ring or carabiner. There is a cable pass-through from the inside pockets to the exterior pocket, and another pass-through to the outside the backpack. This is located on the right side of the backpack. This is a good feature to allow a battery pack to connect to a cell phone or MP3 player to headphones while you're walking around. There is some cushioning on the inside for a laptop and some padding along the back for comfort. Also, there is a grab handle up top for carrying.
