The media could not be loaded. I bought this to go in our bedroom. We luv in a 3 floor town house and the top floor is always hot and stuffy. I like to keep this running on cold during the day and on low fan on a night to keep the bedroom fresh and cool at all times.The air cooler is very easy to use and it comes with 4 blocked that you fill with water and freeze and then put into the top drawer to make the fan blow very cold air.The remote control means you don’t have to get up to operate it and you can even set a timer which is great for on a night.It’s nice and quiet during use and I am a light sleeper and can even have it running in a night with it disturbing my sleep.I really like how much this fan cools the bedroom down and how easy it is to use so I have decided to rate it 5 stars.

In fairness we bought this as a test of concept (buying for its low price point), & at this level of expectation it does not disappoint, producing cool air in a hot room. However, as we anticipated, it was never designed for a largish room (25x15), so the area cooled is small. But given time, we were able to discern a lowering of the temperature in the peak of the heat wave after about 30/45 minutes, which did slowly spread about the room - perhaps we should have aided this effect with another fan. The concept works, but we need a more powerful unit!

My £20 tower fan is significantly better than this. Even with the ice packs this seems to just blow warm air around the room. The fan is weak with zero cooling effect. It is also noisy and a lot of faff to set up with no results. Avoid at all costs!

I bought this a couple of months ago in preparation for summer as I sweltered in the heat last year. I used it for the first time at the weekend. It’s lightweight so easy to move from room to room.Assembly is simple - you just have to screw in 4 caster wheels. You need 2 AAA batteries for the remote.It’s a bit if a faff filling because you have to unscrew the back to fill the water tank. However the water lasts a while.It’s not noisy but you do hear it .It has lots of settings to suit personal taste.It doesn’t make a room cold it’s not an air con but it definitely cools it down.I am very pleased with my purchase it’s not an extortionate price. I would recommend.

This is small and lightweight which will be great for storage. I have been using it for the last few days during the heatwave alongside a number of other conventional fans. The water is pumped over the small ice packs and air is blown out over this. The ice packs are quite small and are filled with water before freezing. They quickly defrost. Due to this and their limited size the water never gets really cold and the air being blown out seems no cooler than conventional fans. Because it is quite small the cool air is blown out at calf level through a fairly small area. You need to duck to feel it. I am constantly freezing ice packs (a normal ice pack will also fit) to keep it blowing cool air. Do not buy this as your only cooling source unless you have a tiny room.

Okay, so just to make it clear this is NOT a replacement for Air conditioning. If you are expecting a chilled room in 20 minutes you are going to be disappointed.But this is a great fan, with 3 speeds and a swivel feature. A timer as well and the option to add water and ice to reduce the temperature a little.It is pretty easy to use and if you add chilled water, ice and use the ice blocks provided, it will give a cooler feel to the room. I'd recommend emptying the water tank daily, which is easy to do and if you have some spare ice packsyou can add to the tank at the bottom of the unit via the back panel.The fan on the lowest setting is fine and not too noisy. It has helped keep our living room more comfortable in this heat.Air con it is not but for the price it is a decent unit.

The media could not be loaded. This is a gem! Really cools and is reasonably quiet well worth the money. Was easy to set up. I recommend to use the “fast fill” hole to fill up water tank. Definitely worth the money 😍😍😍 the only bad thing I can say about it that its a bit short, but I put it on a stool so now it blows at the perfect height 👍😍

I’m really un impressed with this air cooler, basically because it doesn’t really cool anything. If I stand it right in front of me I can just about feel it and that’s when it’s on full. Very over priced . My fan is more efficient.
