Thick and sturdy!
When I was a teen I worked in a deli. We had these rubber floor mats behind the counter. As you can imagine the back of a deli can get pretty filthy - and wet. I know firsthand that these mats are help you maintain your footing and avoid dangerous falls. This mat is exactly the same as what we had behind the deli counter all those years ago.Once opened and unrolled the mat needs a little time to flatten out but the rubber is thick and this mat will not slide. The holes allow liquid to fall through so that your feet remain firm. To clean the mat, simply pick it up and hose it down (I remember that from my deli days). These mats clean up easily and will last a good long time.UPDATE:I am all about using the same item for several purposes. It has been raining non-stop here for about three days. Our neighbor stopped by and, in trying to turn his car around, managed to get stuck in the mud. Four people pushing didn't help because one wheel in particular sunk in deep. What to do? And then I had a brainstorm! I ran to get this rubber mat. Placed it in front of the front wheel that had sunk in - a little push, a little acceleration - and, viola! The car moved on! A quick hosing down and the rubber mat is completely undamaged.

Bit Thin
Fast shipping. PROS: Good size (But a few inches shy of 3ft x 5ft), rolls out nice right out of the box. CONS: Strong rubber smell, much thinner material than my original mat, mine had multiple defects in the mat material: looks like a loose bolt left a melted in impression in one area, and loose braided wire was haphazardly molded into the mat in other areas?

Basic drain hole anti-fatigue mat
I got this because I have used mats like this in the past and liked them and could use another one for a new location. It does pretty much all you expect of an anti-fatigue mat of this type adds a cushion to hard concrete floor and allows dirt and fluids to drop through. The attention to detail in manufacturing wasn't the best, some of the holes went fully punched out leaving full disks and a few had little crescent tabs Haning on them like they had been run through the hole puncher twice, in either case they just had to be poked out to remove. and did not significantly affect the function.Overall sits a functional item and it does its job but it would be nice if they paid a bit more attention to detail when manufacturing.

Cushiony without being too squishy, easy to clean
This mat is perfect for my workshop: comfortable to stand on while firm enough for a solid non-slip footing, large holes to contain sawdust or metal shavings, and easy to clean. I can just run a shop vac over the mat, or lift it up and sweep or vacuum the debris. Recommended.

There isn't a better floor mat for a machine shop.
Far longer than I have been a machinist these types of mats have been used at the foot of pretty much every machine. You can't beat them for safety and cleaning. The holes are big enough for metal chips to fall through, and soft enough to help with foot fatigue from standing all day. To clean them just broom them off and sweep under them. This particular mat seems just like the expensive ones I'm used to, and I have no doubt it will last a long time.

Thick, tough rubber mat
Very robust mat. Made from apparently high quality rubber. I like this as an anti-slip mat for my bike workshop. Easy to clean and seems like it will last for years with constant use.Out of the packaging the rubber smell is very strong, but it's been my experience all brand new, sealed up rubber items come out with a pretty strong smell. Seems to be pretty normal, and as the days go on it tends to fade. I've had this one laid out in the shop for two days now and I already can't smell it unless I get down next to it.Not much else to say about a rubber mat. It feels good under foot, has good grip and lays flat.

Basic. Sturdy. Nonslip. Drains well.
Our old mat out the back door has seen better days, so I've been looking for a replacement. We get a lot of wet back there, so I was looking for something that would drain well and be nonslip. This mat won't win any beauty contest -- it's basic/industrial -- but it's fine for a back door and will do the job of keeping mud and dirt out of the house. And it's super easy to hose down. It arrived very tightly curled and took a while to flatten. Strong rubber smell at first -- if you plan to use in the garage, basement or workshop, you'll want to air it outside a few days.

Nice and Comfortable, Drains Easily
This mat does the job. It is comfortable enough without being too thick. Compared to some other mats that are similar, this one is thinner than most of them, but the material seems to be as comfortable. It does drain well. I am using mine outside a basement door so that boots can be scraped whether they have snow or other debris on them. I have a floor drain outside my basement door and rain, snow and the like travel easily through the mat (or under it since it has little ribs) to reach the floor drain easily. I can recommend this mat.
