350 grams of barberries is actually quite a lot! So this is good value for money. Good quality product.

Barberries were commonly used in Britain in medieval times, and only disappeared from our recipes after an order in the 1700s that all the bushes be removed because they were thought to be blighting the wheat fields. This is a shame, because their tangy fruitiness makes them a great ingredient and they are also extremely good for you. I use them instead of currants and sometimes in curries instead of tamarind, as well as eating them as they are with nuts. This pack is a good size to ensure you have plenty while not so much they go stale, and is well-priced compared to others.

I liked them a lot, but they are still a bit more expensive comparing to local shops
