A large and bright teapot for my sister.

NO QUALITY CONTROL AT THIS FACTORY - LID TOTALLY USELESS AS VERY POOR FIT. The tongue that is supposed to stop the lid from falling when you pour the tea stops me from removing the lid altogether. It is stuck and refuses to budge. Finally I managed, but the next time it happened, a guest did it and the little tongue split off. Now it jumps out as soon as the pot is tipped to pour. Finally, it jumped once too often, and despite fast reflex response it fell to the floor and smashed. ALL BECAUSE NOBODY BOTHERED TO CHECK THE TOP BEFORE IT LEFT THE FACTORY. BECAUSE NOBODY WOULD HAVE LET THAT TOP GO LIKE THAT. IT WAS AN IMPOSSIBLY BAD FIT. If they sent me a new top that did fit, I would remove this comment but can't see how to reach the makers thru this site...

Excellent service. Arrived quickly, was well packaged. Love the teapot, perfect for our big family teas. No dripping spout and easy to pour even though it's a big teapot.

I was looking for a large teapot to serve up to 10 people for use when staying in my holiday house. This is perfect, while also being a thing of beauty! It's worth the money just to have it on the shelf! Very handy lip to help you hold the front when pouring. Would buy again.

A great big teapot , just what we needed for a party. Lovely deep colour. It is quite heavy especially when full.
