Great baritone guitar strings
Love heavy gauge strings and decided to put these 16/70 baritone strings on my Ibanez baritone acoustic. Was also disappointed at first as it appeared that the low B wasn’t going to fit through the tuning peg. Luckily after a little pulling using pliers to grip the string it came through (maybe need to the peg hole increased somehow for next time). Strung all the other strings and fine tuned. Plays amazingly well. Solid. Bright yet full of tone. Don’t expect to be doing bends with these! You can try.Purchased two more packs of these as I like to have a stick of strings replacements for all my guitars. The packs look a little different so I assume this is a new design packaging and not different strings as you can get bronze, and phosphor bronze. (See pics)

Sound good and work like they're supposed to
It's true that regular non-coated strings sound maybe 5% brighter than these when they're brand new, but on my baritone guitar I find the zing is gone within a few days. These coated strings on the other hand will give you weeks of clear tone and so are easily worth the premium. Maybe if you're a studio player and you need that extra (initial) brightness you get with regular strings it makes sense to change strings every time you play, but considering baritone strings are expensive to begin with these are the only ones I'll use.The only Issue I have with these is that I think a wound second string would sound even better.

Guitar Strings
I have been using these strings for all my guitars for nearly two years now and am delighted with them. The longevity is certainly a factor in deciding to buy these though the most important element is the tone. These retain their brightness and clarity for much longer than any other strings I have used over the more than 50 years of playing guitar. They have a bright and rich tonal quality which suits me exactly.

Great for fretless guitar

breakage
Strings feel good, bright and smooth. Though poor longevity as had a breakage at the tuners while tightening up on the G and for the price and the heavy gauge I bought not ideal.

The best acoustic guitar strings ever made
My collection of acoustic guitars have one thing in common - Elixir strings. In my humble opinion no other brand of acoustic strings comes close to their quality. No matter whether the guitar is a hand-made Gibson or Santa Cruz, factory-made Taylor or Lowden baritone the tone is improved when these wonderful strings are fitted.

Great quality
Great strings, just a bit pricey

An important note.....
..........if you have one of the cheaper Ibanez baritone acoustic guitars, you may have to remove about 4 inches of winding in order for the low b string to fit through the hole on the tuning head so that you can tune it correctly. This is OK is you have the necessary skills to do so. If not, I recommend using different set of strings.Initial impressions of these strings - they are clear and bright. I need to play them for a while to see how well they settle in.

Great quality , bottom string doesn't fit properly
Very good quality, have yet to have any issues and it has been about 2 months, but the low B string actually doesn't fit in the peg hole. Still managed to get it working, just be aware that some standard peg holes can't fit that lowest string.

my go-to choice
I originally have bought these in standard set for my Ovation, decided to see what a baritone set would sound like on my baritone. Was definitely not disappointed. Such a nice rich tone from these strings and they last 3-6 months which offsets the higher price. Definitely worth the extra money.

Oooh...these are great..
Just right for my Alvarez Acoustic baritone. I picked up this guitar, just give an acoustic baritone a try and fell in love the sound. I had another brand of strings that we’re thrown in when I purchased this guitar and they were pretty dead sounding, but I always use Elixir on my acoustics and saw these so I figured I’d give them a shot. Wow! It woke up the guitar. It’s a great mix of just the right sized strings to give the high end the brightness and the low end great resonance with clarity. If you play every day, these set in and settle down great after the first week and by the third week they just sing. If I’m playing every day, I’ll change my strings about once a quarter or as needed (depending on the climate). If I’m playing just every so often, once a year. The great part about these, since they are covered if they sit they still sound great when you go to pick it up again. Plus they’re super durable if you play multiple hours every day. Pricey? Sure..they’re Elixir, but you do get what you pay for...especially on these. Happy Strumming!
