Great for the environment and very sturdy

I was so happy to see bulk pricing on Bambu plates - we have a yearly party for about 100 people and this year I bought all wooden plates and utensils. These were the perfect size (and I loved all the size options), they were sturdy, everyone loved them and we simply burned the used plates in our fire pit. Perfect.These are not reusable but they will last one user the entire night. They are elegant enough for a wedding or a dinner party and economical enough for regular summer use.They would be perfect for a picnic.

I am all about working smarter, not harder. I used two different sizes of these bamboo plates for a recent baby shower I co-hosted and they were perfect. We wanted the day to be elegant, but using these instead of real plates allowed us to a) have enough matching plates for a big group and b) cut down on the clean-up work after the party. The plates are sturdy, they come in several sizes and shapes, they are a neutral color and go with any decoration and theme, and they don't look as cheap as other disposable plates. Totally worth the extra cost. Also, I searched a bunch of different websites and brands of bamboo plates before purchasing and these were the nicest looking and most cost-efficient for the number I needed, especially when you factor in free or Prime shipping from Amazon.

Attractive and sturdy, wish we could re-use them or easily recycle them.Ordered these for a party that really needed something other than breakable china, and we didn't want to use plastic or paper. They worked well, and were popular with guests who appreciated both the presumably "eco-friendly" nature and the attractive higher quality of the bamboo.

Ordered these for the first time last week - used them for a lunch gathering a few days ago - everyone loved them. They are disposable, very "green" as the material is a renewable resource (bamboo, which we all know grows like an uncontrollable weed and so is in no danger of ever running out). They are rigid, a nice neutral color. I will order these again, for sure. Wonderful especially for foods that make ordinary paper plates soggy. Compare to the strength of plastic, but without the environmental damage that plastic causes.

First of all, these look nicer than plastic (*gasp*) or paper (*gasp*) plates. I really like how big they are. They hold a lot and feel so so sturdy in your hand.Secondly, they are still disposable but additionally, you can compost them in your green waste or compost. Even if you don't have compost or green waste, then they will be not nearly as bad for the landfills as paper or plastic. They completely breakdown in waste in 6 months.Thirdly, you can still cut with a knife on these and they wont tear or break.Lastly, if you are having a luau, patio party, or any occasion where you want disposable but would prefer it to look more high end, then these are the plates for you!
