Hair Cutting Trimmer Razor, Hairdressing Styling Razor, Silver or Gold

With the lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic I was unable to get to my barber. My hair grows very quickly and I need it cut every month to keep it tidy and it's essential I keep it off my ears as I wear hearing aids and longer hair masks the microphones.I live alone so had nobody to help me keep my hair tidy during the lockdown, which could go on for several months. Having used a similar product to keep my dog's fur thinned out between grooming sessions, I decided to give the Sanguine Dual Hair Shaper Razor Comb and it's far better than I could have ever hoped.My hair is quite fine so when I ran the comb through my hair the first time was surprised how much it removed. I was more gentle with subsequent passes of the comb through my hair and soon got the hang of cutting only as much as I needed to. Within 5 minutes my hair was thinned and looked like a barber had expertly layered it.I still need to trim my fringe and around my ears with scissors, and my sideboards with my razor, but the look from the front is almost as good as my barber would have done. OK I can't trim the back so that will eventually be over my collar, but by the time that happens hopefully the lockdown will be eased and I can go back to my regular barber.Overall a very successful outcome and would happily recommend the Sanguine Dual Hair Shaper Razor Comb to my family and friends. After the first cut its cost was no more than my barber would have charged so I've already broken even. I will go back to using my barber in the future but only because I enjoy a natter and the banter, in the meantime my hair is being kept tidy so I'm one very happy customer. Even if you live with someone who can help keep your hair tidy, this razor comb makes the job easy.

We have used it for trimming hard to cut hairs on our spaniel. It works ok.

Nice product, light and does the job. Used to help us get through the remaining winter coat the dog did not manage to shed. Stella is a chow-chow / Shar pei cross and has a double coat.We needed something that would help us thin out areas that did not shed and also assists in some tangles.Works well and is safeAll in all – good product

Delighted with item. Arrived next day and was in excellent, brand-new condition (no missing teeth on either side of the razor comb). Complete with wrapped Wilkinson Sword blade. Uses standard double edged razor blades, replacements easily sourced at supermarkets or chemists. It is over 50 years since I used a similar item and this was easy to use. Lack of instruction leaflet is no big deal as it is quick to see which side of the comb will remove more hair (the wider toothed side) and which allows for finer more feathered look (the narrower toothed side). I recommend washing/wetting the hair first to avoid any drag on the hair. Hold the comb quite parallel to the head and use gentle strokes. The more strokes will remove more hair so use carefully until you feel comfortable and confident with the comb. It is better to cut your hair cautiously to start with as you can always do it again once you have practised the cutting technique. I consider this item to be essential during the lockdown and am happy to know that I can reproduce decent haircuts for both myself and other half whilst the hairdressers remain shut. When they do re-open I won't have to worry to be in the first rush! I will replace the razor blade on a regular basis so each haircut will produce excellent results every time. Amazing value for money. Very pleased with the purchase.

I have used a similar item for years and I was not aware when ordering this, that blades were so difficult to replace. - Who keeps a phillips screwdriver in their bedroom or bathroom?- I had to search my husband’s toolshed to find one small enough to unscrew the clamping plate. - A totally impractical design. Replacing the blades is a frequent activity and should be easy enough to do immediately.

Got this razor comb for my dog, he has a double coat and quite long hairs around the neck. The product seems ok, with an easy to replace blade. The results for me though were not astonishing. It does cut some of the fur but I was expecting a better may be shorted cut. As I said in my view is not related to the actual comb but more to the type of hair of my little one. All in all I would buy it again for the quality of the product.
