The product showed up having become really scrambled in shipment. Several pieces were broken and in various states of usability. I wrote a mail to the reseller to investigate potential resolutions and was answered within minutes! The reseller quickly resolved the matter for a frustrated customer. BOZART gets top marks for their customer satisfaction skills and responsiveness. On to the product: the Rembrandt pastels are medium soft with great pigment content. The set of 90 half stick is a really affordable way to explore the brand and a good broad section of the color range. I would recommend using them in conjunction with a more hard set (Faber Castell/Cretacolor) and a softer set (Unison/Schmincke). Life is too short for crappy art supplies. A good buy.

These pastels are of a beautiful quality and range of colours are excellent. Even though half size they don't have the fiddly pieces of paper to work around are the pigments are very good making them excellent for mixed media projects.

I have never found any soft pastels that compares to Rembrands. The colours are deep and vibrant and the pastels are easy to apply and work with on the paper. This set is a great way to get started with an exelent choise of colours for a very reasonable price.

Despite the pastels being sealed and the box undamaged, the pastels had all come loose from their foam trays and several were broken on delivery

A good selection of colours. These pastels are somewhere between hard and the real softies. A good set for someone starting out with pastels but also a useful addition with the softer ones.

The Rembrandt Pastels are a pastel artist dream. Soft, blend extremely well, great color selection. I would not recommend for a begining pastel student as they are rather pricey, however, if your budget allows, get them, you will not regret it.

Super gut zu verarbeitende Pastellkreide; nicht zu weich, nicht zur hart - Verblenden funktioniert wunderbar. Für Details kann man sowohl sehr weiche als auch harte Pastellstifte verwenden. Hell über Dunkel geht gut, solange das Papier noch genügend Textur hat (z. B. Pastelmat).Die Farbauswahl ist für Landschaftsbilder sehr gut; man kann die Pastelle auch einzeln kaufen.Alles in allem: gerne wieder
