You can't turn off the self-close function. However, you do not need to as all the hinges will work in unison and the door will close at the same speed; even if you put 10 hinges on a door. Great hinges. Top sellers in the US & Canada.

Q: What depth of door are these designed for? Looking to fit these to a 15mm thick door

I fitted my hinges to 20mm doors with out any problems so I would think these hinges would fit to your 15mm thick door. I believe the minimum thickness of door would be 11.8mm.

Q: are these half overlay? as the diagram with product suggests full overlay?

I followed the link on the enquiry email and at the top heading it says Half overlay. I didn't buy mine from the indicated seller. I purchased mine elswhere on Amazon (Stolmet) at a cheaper price and they are exactly the same. These GTV hinges are manufactured in Poland and are of excellent quality. I recommend them unreservedly. They are a top seller in the US.

Yes it does come with screws and I,ve had no problems whatsoever with the hinges,they soft close has claimed, A GOOD BUY.
