Product and Demonstration
I'm very satisfied with the AGARO Imperial Espresso Coffee Makerβitβs compact, stylish, and delivers excellent espresso with its 15-bar pressure. Itβs a great value for a startup cafΓ© like Pie Town. This is the first time Iβm using this kind of product, so I was a little nervous at first. But the person who guided me, MAMPI, was extremely communicative, a great listener, and very patient. I asked her a lot of questionsβsometimes more than onceβand she answered everything very humbly. She gave me the confidence to use the machine properly. Sheβs truly supportive and even encouraged me to reach out anytime if I face any issues. I really enjoyed the demo session and feel fully satisfied.

Works great...requires some mastery over time
It's a simple , easy to use machine. It doesn't eat up much space on the counter and is quite compact. It looks premium and has a solid build. You can look up videos on Youtube for its functioning.Performance wise i think it's great. The manual button is particularly useful if you know for how much time you want to extract the coffee. The portafilter in this is 51mm so whatever tools you buy should be of that calibre. I was experiencing some issues with the coffee puck on my first few uses. If you feel that the coffee flow isn't too good then try using a coarser grind for the beans.I use the agaro electric coffee grinder and I usually set the grind at 2 or 3 mark ..that works best for an expresso.Overall the product is good and quite cheap too . It's a good but for coffee nerds who are starting out new on this venture πEdit:I've been using it for a month now..here are some more points i though would be worth mentioning. The steam nozzle is a bit short. I think it would be better had it been longer in length.Another thing lacking in the machine is the steam control knob..there is no way of controlling the flow of the steam jet...it's just of and on ...no way of controlling the flow or the the speed of the steam jet..a control knob would have been good ..2nd EditIt's been 2 months now since I've used it. It does getting some time to master the espresso shot you'll be taking out. What I do is that i grind the coffee beans at number 5 setting on the agaro coffee grinder (electric )..and to prepare the coffee puck i tamp it down as hard a possible.. these combination of settings prepares the ideal coffee puck pre espresso extraction..The second tip i follow is to measure the coffee beans and take out the espresso shot at twice the amount . For example if I'm taking 15 grams of coffee then i aim at a final espresso volume of 30 grams ..i use the manual button for this always ..i use a bottomless portafilter (photo included) for this and not the traditional basket provided with this particular coffee machine ..I also use a weighing scale..it's a bit complex but when you maser it it's damn rewarding ! π π ππππͺπͺ

Wake up and smell the PLASTIC
The media could not be loaded. Day 1:Just got the product , did few rounds of rinsing before the momemt of truth to brew the coffee. The instruction manual could be better. Heard of instructional videos anyone?Brewing coffee, there is a very strong plastic smell. Not sure where it's coming from( might be the portafilter, which has some plastic components)Crema is not what you expect from a 20 bar pressure machineCoffee taste was not good. Felt too light. There are marks and scratches on the machine, especially where the portafilter is.* This was the first day. Will add more to this review daily.Looks like it's defective and would need to return itDay 2:Was excited to have no morning brew from my new coffee maker. Ran some brewing cycles with water and finally added finely ground coffee powder to it.Wake up and smell the coffee more like wake up and smell the plastic. Yuck. Had to throw away the pulled expresso shot because of the strong plastic taste. Not sure whats wrong here.Returned back from work, running some brewing cycles with just water to see if the smell goes away. I can still smell plastic it in the water, don't feel like brewing coffee using this.I read online and plan to use a vineger + water solution to clean it. New task for tomorrowSide Note: There are good reviews here. That's probably because people brew expresso and mix it with frothed milk. The milk and coffee combination probably covers the plastic smell. I wonder if they had a Americano instead, the smell would be noticed.Day 3:I noticed that the plastic smell is less when you brew using the 2 shot option. Mainly because the coffee overpowers the smell.A way to test this is to do a manual brew with water , you will see a strong plastic smell. I believe the smell is reducing with use. Also because I am brewing with plain water to get rid of the smell.Reading online I found, this is a major concern with new coffee makers. It takes time for the plastic smell to go awayDay ... :Some more R and D later, i was able to crack where the plastic smell is coming from. It's from the water tank. All you got to do is out your nose in there and smell the water in there.Workaround: I empty, and clean the tank before each brew. Add fresh water.Only problem left: Single shot or double the coffee is not satisfactory. It feels too light and watery, especially after i mix it with water to make Americano. Some more work is required to pull the perfect shot, looks like.SummaryThe coffee maker has some cheap quality plastic that makes the coffee less optimal.Instructions could have been much better maybe a video guide---------Kudos to Amazon for the support and complaint resolution

Nice p product and good demonstration
The product is good for home usage. Look forward to its consistent performance in the coming days. The product demo provided by Mampi Roy was very elaborative and helpful. She is cooperative enough to help us on few issues, even after the product demo, over a call.
