Batter than I expected!
I was going into this product with pretty low expectations, and with some initial issues with connecting to WiFi I wasn't feeling much better about it.But... After a week of usage I got a very extensive plant report explaining about the light levels being too low, the soil needing a deep watering, and a whole bunch more information about what it had discovered and its recommendations. Very useful.Overall? I think it's easy to use once it's up and running, provides great insights, and lots of great functionality. For the fellow nerds out there, you can also access the API to get the information in third party applications like Home Assistant. Maybe you can link this with some automated watering. My only 'complaint' would be to make sure you check the product dimensions first as it's bigger than I thought it'd be. Luckily I had a large plant anyway.Currently ordering more for other plants!

After Initial Problem - Seems Great
Receive in a nice package. Batteries already installed and remove plastic tab to activate. Put the two part together as in the instructions. Placed in plant pot. Downloaded Apple app and tried to activate the wifi by holding the top as instructed - nothing. No lights, nothing. Tried adjusting the position, but still nothing. I took the two parts apart and then turned the device around and, it lit up and worked as described on the app. It initially misidentified my plant (it would be a good idea to have a 'disagree' button on this page, rather than having to keep going back a couple of steps) It is measuring the temperature, humidity and soil moisture as described. I will be trying it on a few other plants over the next few weeks and will update the review then. Apart from the initial starting problems, all is looking good so far.

Doesn't work it's British
I had such high hopes for this but. As usual with everything made the support software is useless. Probe Doesn't work the app doesn't work what a surprise like all British innovations the ideas good but we need to sell the idea abroad for them to improve it and probably make it cheaper. I'll just have to return another disappointing British item and wait for the Chinese to make a good working version.Don't waste your hard earned money on junk like this. I thought this could be brilliant it does so many different things but it doesn't do fertiliser at all. So really it on doesn't do what they advertised it does.I try my best to look for British innovations 💡 and support British companies but this is exactly the reason we are forced to buy everything from ChinaBecause made in England means it won't work or last or in this case won't even connect to their own app . For £46 plus I expect it to work on the first time of use . Very disappointing product I expected more

Could be so much better
It's like they stopped working on designing this half way through product development, the potential this has is huge if a couple of extra sensors were included I.e ph and EC. Missed opportunity by the manufacturer.

Product AMAZING - Support EQUALLY AMAZING - Proud owner of 11 (more to come!)
I needed something for live soil moisture, but this thing does a helluva lot more - Temperature, Light Levels , Humidity, and the soil moisture. The app is easy to use and set up well the first time, I have yet to add the other devices to the app, what I really would of liked is a web interface (public api) so I could pull the results into my website (local or wide area) - I emailed the developers asking the question and to my surprise they responded, telling me it will soon be Home Assistant compatible AND that they have plans to create a public API so you can pull your results, live, directly .. .OMG jump in NOW if you are contemplating it, this truly is a fantastic product and it sounds like its about to get a whole heap better !!!

Brilliant but expensive
This really is 22th century house plant management. Works as imtended, and very much so in fact, has stopped me overwatering my plants and they really prosper now.But at the going price, it really is a stretch to justify it in the household budget so her indoors has had little difficulty vetoing any further depmaymenr and I will only be able to install one in every plant in the house (which tbh is the only scale at which it is worth implementing this sensor, really) once unit economics come down significantly. But make sure you have owned at least one of these in your life, it's absolutely amazing to see in action: take a pic of the plant, it will find it in its large online database and monitor its most efficient parameter range (light, temp, humidity, soil moisture), with weekly reports sent to your inbox, specifying intervention where required.

Confusing info
Brilliant probes, super easy to connect, super easy to program the plant being monitored and great set of info. One problem is it reports 100% humidity when ambient humidity is less than 70% and keeps warning through the app. Nevertheless, I may get some more soon.

Don’t
Fill the plant pot full of water, and the probe says 10% moisture, the pot was close to a pond. It’s piece of cheap gadgety that ‘does not do what it say on the tin’ AVOID
