It works well
I had made one before myself ten years ago from plans, but I wanted something ready to go. Easy to assemble. I like that the voltage is variable and shows you the number digitally. If you turn it up the wire gets red hot real fast! I didn’t need it very hot. Cutting pink foam used for insulation for a project, worked perfectly (not used for insulation). Very good product for the money spent!

Great Product & Seller Experience!
Seller:I was initially disappointed with my initial set-up attempt because it seemed there was a misalignment of a part. I reread the instructions which include photos, but still could not get it align. I submitted a return request. That evening the seller messaged me and asked for photos of the parts, which I sent. I appreciated seller reaching out so promptly. Next morning I received more images and detailed instructions. I immediately saw it was my mistake. Ugh! I proceeded with setup and it is working beautifully. This seller knows about good customer service!Product:Well made and easy to set-up (if unlike me, you follow instructions correctly). The only con I have is that end of the guiding ruler scrapes my nails when I turn the tightening screw. I think it's an easy fix though, a little filing down or a piece of tape on the offending corner and it should be good.I am happy with the product and impressed with the seller's customer service.

You get what you pay for, which isn't much in this case
Pros:It's (relatively) cheap, and if you scour the internet, you'll find videos for other similar products that more adequately explain the setup process.Cons: The power supply works intermittently, usually needing to be turned on and off several times followed by a good wack, and even then, it goes off randomly when set below an output of 10V. I'm hoping that a new power supply ordered from a different vendor will prove more useful. But this assumes one actually manages to construct the device, a task not facilitated by the minimalist instructions. Steps 1 through 3 are simple, but step 4 simply states, "The electrothermal wire is hung on the spring and should not come off" below a picture of the table underside in which no wire is attached to the spring. What the instructions leave out is that one needs to unwind a length of wire from the spool attached to the pillar, feed it through the hole in the table, twist it around the open end of the spring, and then take up the wire slack by dialing back the spool, making the wire taut but not too taut. If the overall product were better, the poor instructions wouldn't be much of an issue, but as is, it underscores how cheaply made the whole product is.
