Did exactly what I purchased it for..
I recently purchased the Evolution R15VAC - great vac, absolutely awful quality hose - never quite understand why the lack of investment in this part but... we are where we are.I already have a Central Technologies Quick Click hose attached to my Axminster shop vac and wondered if this adapter would convert said same hose for use with the Evo R15VAC. As yes, it does - perfectly. Quick 5 minute job to remove the existing vac-end adapter and replace it with this and voila - a far more functional, flexible and usable power tool vac. I'm not sure I would use it for the wet vac function (ribbed hose of any significant length will struggle to dry out to then be converted back for dust extraction) so may keep the original for this purpose.

The adapter is good quality and easy to install or remove with a screwdriver. What's really good is that once fitted it mates perfectly tight INSIDE the gates on the Dakota 63mm pipe extraction kit.
